Summary: I'm torn...
Review: ...because I can't decide on which is better! The first book, or this one? If you haven't read the first Gossip Girl, do NOT read this one unless you do. You will be missing out on a great book. This one was just as good! Blair's world starts to fall apart. Her mom and Cyrus are getting married, her interview with Yale did not turn out how she expected, she remains a virgin...all this stuff. But at the end, there is an unexpected surprise to it all. I don't want to spoil you with details because I've said enough. But there's more interesting stories in between. The one with Nate, Dan, and Serena. You must get this to add to your Gossip Girl collection!

Summary: What's Not to Love?
Review: Gossip Girl is back with another deliciously addictive, rumor filled novel. Serena, Blair, Nate, and Dan are all applying for college. Blair has her heart set on Yale but, well, let's just say her interview doesn't go as well as she would have liked. Serena's desperatly trying to get it together so she can get excepted to anywhere other than South East New York U (FACT: Colleges with more than one compass point in their name aren't very good colleges.) Dan is still hopelessly infatuated with Serena, but she thinks he bordering on stalker. Nate ditches Blair for the most unlikely person. Oh, don't you just love a good scandal? Heads up social butterflies, you gotta read this one!

Summary: I READ IT IN ONE NIGHT!
Review: I bought this book and started reading it the same day. I had just finished the first book in the series Gossip Girl, which was a really good book! So I finished this book in one night! Its a really good book and you learn to love or hate the characters. You feel like you know them. It takes teenagers growing up in New York and it tells all the 'Gossip' on them. Its a must read! I loved it!

Summary: An accurate portrayal of NYC life
Review: My best friend showed me this book one day at school. I read the back cover and gasped; this sounds too real. I read it in two days and said to myself this author is fabulous, its like she did research in a private school in the upper east side. Even though the book is fictional, it hits the nail head on when it comes to nearly delineating my best friends; its scary. The two books were amazing and I hope the author writes more, because my friends and I are hooked; we keep rereading the books; to continue the series; don't keep us in suspense!

Cordially,

Lindsay <3

Summary: A Fun Read
Review: I was ...looking for a book and the cover caught my eye. I read the description and thought it sounded ok. I read the book in a couple of hours.

The story is basically about this girl (Blair) and the problems in her life (boyfriend, family, and friends). Blair is this rich girl from Manhattan that goes to an elite all girls school. She has a boyfriend, Nate, that is cheating on her with this girl Jenny. This isn't the first time he has cheated on her though, he had sex with this girl Serena who Blair was friends with (that ended their friendship). Then there is Dan who is obsessed with Serena. Serena still wants to be friends with Blair again but Blair is still mad at her. At the same time, Blair is trying to get into Stanford and her mother is getting married again to a man that Blair finds repulsive. With this new man in her life he brings a son from a previous marriage. ...

I recommend this for 6th grade +

Summary: what will hapen next?!?!
Review: This book was in many ways different than the first, but it was SO good! There are so many surprises and you never know what's going to happen next. It explores many different topics, i.e.:older guys and younger girls, stepparents and stepsiblings, sex, love, and virginity. There are still many questions that are left unanswered and keep you hanging. Will B and S ever be friends again? Will B and N stay together? Will N and J stay together? Will V and D stay "just friends"? If you like the first book in this series, I strongly reccomend this sequel. I can't wait for the third!!!
