Summary: Fun!
Review: This book was just so much fun to read. Anna is a great character, and so is Cammie, the bad girl of the book. I felt like I was right there in the story, and even though the end left me wanting more, I can understand that because I think this is a series like Gossip Girl. Anna has great adventures and a hot romance. What could be more fun that that? I have a cousin in Los Angeles and she says that the book has a lot of real locations. All in all, read this book!

Summary: Slow begining- gets off course. Good book.
Review: The begining was a slow start, bored me a first, when Anna met the guy on the plane it started going off form there. The author spends to much time on other characters in the story, it also keeps you reading to hear what Anna is up to. It kept me on the edge of my seat through the middle to the end.

Summary: Good book-- Bad Ending
Review: I really liked the book. There's always stuff happening and it switches between four different girls POV, all who are in love with the same guy. But the ending was dumb and if I was in her position I wouldn't have done that at all. Plus-- she already graduated from high school. Even if the internship fell through, why is she still going? It also would've been better if her being sick actually contributed to the story. I thought it would but that turned out to be dumb too.

Summary: Great!...until the end
Review: I got this book because a friend recommended it. I started reading it and i couldn't put it down! I read it for almost 2 hrs straight, in the middle of the night with a flashlight :) I finished it in about a day and a half. It was such a good book until i got to the ending...i seriously wanted to scream in anna's face, and say what are you doing!OMG I want ben :) lol It seems as though, from the reviews a lot of people felt the same way about the ending. Anyway, i looked up Zoey Dean and it said she has a new book coming out in May 2004 called Girls on Film and it says it's an A-List Novel! I hope it continues with the same characters and a certain two people get back together! Even though i didn't like the ending i don't regret reading it and if you are thinking of reading it, you should:)

Summary: Im so lost
Review: What is going on? Why does everyone think this is such a GREAT BOOK? Practically all my friends said, "OMG! Its such a good book go read it!" So I read the book and at the end when I closed it, I was so lost. This entire book is so fabricated and so...manufactured its disgusting. This is not LITERATURE! This is not good WRITING! This is CosmoGirl/YM turned into a novel. Its like the author woke up one day and said, "Hm, I think Ill go write a book about designer labels and Hollywood cliches!" Do you know what this author wrote?! She said, "If you've got to go bumper to bumper, its better in a Mercedes." WHAT IS THAT?! And the entire book is composed of lines such as above! I was going to barf it was so revolting! This girl Anna is so robotic and Barbie-like, she does not seem real at all. How can any teenage girl relate to her and her "Ben just wants to have sex with me!" problems? If anyone is looking for a sleazy, shallow read, then you will have oodles of fun with this book. And at the end of the book, Anna does not overcome any "awakening" or sudden "enlightment." She is exactly how she was at the beginning: stuck up and conceited. The entire book has no substance...its all cotton-candy air!!! Please, do yourself a favor and enlighten your mind with the works of "White Oleander" "Anna Karenina" "The Awakening" "Speak" and "Stargirl," just to name a few. Those are true pieces of literature that will leave you with something to gain after you have read them.

Summary: Aloha!!! A Gem of a Book!!!
Review: This book is sooooo awesome!!! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes the Gossip Girl series, or even if you don't. It is very funny and the author does a great job portraying realistic human emotions in a setting that is not necessarily a reality for most teenagers. If you are looking for a fast read that is fun, enertaining, has cute guys, and awesome parties (not to mention great fashion lingo) then you will definitely enjoy this book!!! A MUST read!!! A fantasy to most, but entertaining none the less. (...)You won't regret it!!! (:

Summary: a good book
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I have read all the Gosip Girl novels as well and I rank this book up there with them. The main character, Anna is really likeable, and so is Ben, until you get to the end, I was disappointed with the ending, I hope the author continues it so it can be a series.

Summary: really good...but disappointing ending
Review: Anna Percy, a 17 year old living everywhere but on the edge in New York City gets invited to live in Los Angeles with her father, so she does, deciding that there she will become a new Anna. On the plane to California, she meets the dazzling Ben Birnbaum, and this is where the adventure begins. Throughout her time in LA, she meets Dee (who wants Ben), Sam (who wants Ben) and Cammie (who also wants Ben.) Who knows what could go wrong? This book was very good and i wasn't able to put it down once i hit the third chapter. however, if you (like me) fall in love with Ben as you are reading, i suggest you put the book down before you can finish it. the ending was heart-wrenching for me! but overall, it was a pretty good book!
