Summary: Best of The Best!!!
Review: YOU WILL LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!
I was lucky enough to secure an ADVANCED COPY from my sources, and I just finished it last night!
This is the best of the three! If you thought "You Know You Love Me" was good, just wait!
I won't spoil it, but there are so many hook-ups, your head will spin! Let's see.....Jenny/Nate, Serena/Flow (this rock star...yes, FAMOUS ROCK STAR), Blair/Miles (Aaron's friend), Aaron/Serena, Dan/Vanessa, Chuck/Isabella/Katie (sorta), and my fav....Blair/Nate!
Serena and Blair are friends again, which [stinks], cuz we all LOVE the drama! Everyone's all hyped over this Caribbean thing, it's not that great. In my opionion, the whole Nate/Jenny/Central Park underwear movie (yes, you did read that right) was much better.
But don't you dare think it's the "cleanest" one, we know everyone too well for that. It's far from clean, and I think it tops "You Know You Love Me".
Does Blair get into Yale? We still won't know! There's too much "Omigod, I have to get into Yale" thing! SHE MISSES A PARTY TO FINISH AN APPLICATION! That's just not Blair. And sadly, Jenny gets even more obcessive over Nate, to an almost creepy point. I don't know what it is about Jenny, but I personally think she and Nate are all wrong. Nate belongs with Blair and it's so obvious!
And finally, Cyrus and Blair's mom have a huge suprise! I'm guessing you have an idea.....about "planting a little Rose"!!!!!!!
This is the best of the best! Trust me, you will love it!!!
You know you love me,
hardrockchick

Summary: This Book is on my top 3 fav. books!!!
Review: I loved this book! When i went to the book store and just bought it i didnt think it would be this great!! Most of the book was great but when it came to the end between jenny, nate, and blair it was sorta stupid, there should've been a waaayyy better ending. But other then the weird ending the book was totally great! I just love this book, it's addictive, its fun to read, especially how it describes how rich they all are!

Summary: Good, but not great.
Review: Okay, I'm only 3/4 through the 3rd installment of this witty series, but I'm beginning to get bored. The problem with series is that they just become embellishments of the intro novel. Gossip Girl #1 was AWESOME because all the characters were new and exciting. Now, I'm just plain tired of reading about Nate's constant state of 'baked-ness', Serena's 24/7 'hotness', Vanessa's rebelliousness, Dan's torturedness, Blair's whininess and Chuck's sliminess. Having an international rock star hot for 17 year old Serena is just plain unbelievable.

Also, this series said that these kids are consumed with drugs, drinking, smoking, partying and sex. I've seen a LOT of the first four, but where's this 'sex' thats so touted? So far, no one's had sex, although its been 'alluded' to (Nate and Serena in the first novel and Blair and Nate TRYING to, but....thats it. Its made to seem like its a constant orgy, which its not.

I will continue this novel and also read the last two, if only because I feel an attachment to these kids, but I hope their plots aren't contrived and predictable (I'm tired of shopping at Barneys, smoking pot in the park, etc.)

I hope the last two installments are fresher than this one. Ho-Hum. The one thing that keeps me smiling is von Ziegesar's wit and humor, especially describing these kids' thoughts of the other kids (especially Blair's thoughts about Serena's eternal lovliness) and Cyrus and Blair's mother's PDA. Hilarious!

Summary: I can really relate to this book!
Review: This book was really good! I loved every moment of it. I normally dont read that much but I read the whole thing in one night. I thought it was really cool cause Jennifer in the book is like me. My name is Jeninfer, I'm short with brown curly hair, and a freshman liking a senior.

I think any high school girl can relate to a lot in the book. The whole thing about seeing your ex boyfriend with another girl bothering you and stuff like that.

Summary: A third round of gossip
Review: Gossip Girl is back in its 3rd installment and the gossip is hotter than ever. Its Christmas time in the prestigious Upper East Side of New York and that means midterms, presents, breakup and get togethers, and college essays.

Serena and Blair are friends again, and back to their old tricks and scandals. Partie, limo rides with celebrities, and jetting off to the island of St. Barts for Christmas vacation with a bunch of friends are just some of the antics Blair and Serena are up to so they can blow off some steam after midterms. On the wild beaches of St. Barts theres plenty of scandal and backstabbing as Blair flirts with her stepbrother Aaron's drummer friend Miles while Aaron is trying to suppress his feeling for Blair himself. Meanwhile Blair is still trying to write her Yale essay, based on who else but her idol Audrey Hepburn, even though she knows she been putting it off for way too long. After a botched Yale interview, the essay is extremely important if she wants a ticket to Yale.

The sophisticated Serena has got problems on her hands too, trying to fend off the affections of Flow, the sexy lead singer of the band Komunik8, whose got every girl at Constance Billard School drooling over him. When everyone returns to New York from St. Barts to attend Serena's party, things heat up between Blair and her ex-boyfriend Nate and his new girlfriend Jenny, whose only 14, but has got totally huge attributes in the chest area. Then theres Danny, Jenny's big brother, the romantic poet whose still trying to sort out with Vanessa the should we do it or not issue in their relationship.

All and all the 3rd book in the series was another worthy installment of guilty pleasure but I though the previous 2 were better. The plot lines were a bit choppy and not that intricately connected like the previous two. The characters have many new developments and the identity of Gossip Girl is becoming more interesting. A fan scandalous read that I definitely recommend.

Summary: All I want is the gossip girl collection!
Review: This third installment of Cecily von Ziegesar's "Gossip Girl" is no dissapointment to "Gossip Girl" fans!
It deals with the friendship, relationships, sex, drugs and living in New York's Upper East Side.
Although this book may seem corney to many, "All I Want Is Everything", (as with all the "Gossip Girl" novels so far), has a strong and strange sense of realism to it.
In an age where books like "Harry Potter" are aimed at young adults "Gossip Girl" is refreshing, and even when the characters are spending thousands on their prom dress, it becomes a reality.
This book is a good way to escape from the real world by taking you to "gossip world" a place for some, a lot more realistic than Hogwarts.

Summary: Terrible
Review: All I can say is this is the worst book I've ever tried to read. Don't waste your time! It's embarrassing to think about how many people actually think these books are good. Check out some other books. You'll be surprised what you can find. And no I'm not recommending a Harry Potter book. The Mates, Dates series or Truth or Dare series by Cathy Hopkins is awesome and realistic. My Cup Runneth Over by Cherry Whytock is great. Also, Maine Squeeze by Catherine Clark will have you laughing. Trust me, there is a whole world out there beyond Gossip Girl.

Summary: Third helping of gossip
Review: Third book in the gossip girl series. Love it. Love Blair. Love Nate. Hate Serena. Blair and Serena are on vacation with Aaron and Blair's family. Really good fun read although not the best in the series. Buy the whole set these books are worth it.

Summary: Gossip Girl's omniscient voice is boring rather than snarky.
Review: It's Christmastime in New York, but the gossip is hotter than ever. Who's getting what for Christmas? Who's going to what exclusive tropical island to get a fabulous tan? 'Tis the season to make up and break up. As always, the girl in the spotlight is the beautiful, blonde and sophisticated Serena van der Woodsen. She's caught Flow's eye. Yes that Flow, the sexy lead singer of the band Komunik8. He sends her presents, sings to her, and causes everyone at the exclusive all-girls Constance Billard School to have some severe jealousy.

Blair, Serena's best friend, hasn't the time to worry about Serena and Flow. She's destined to go to Yale. The only problem is that she made a complete fool of herself in the first round of interviews, and her essay as it stands isn't exactly stellar. To complicate matters, her mother is pregnant at 47, her ex-boyfriend is dating a girl with really big breasts, and her stepbrother's friend Miles is interested in her when she so doesn't have time for a boyfriend...or does she? And don't forget about Dan, the poet, or his filmmaker girlfriend Vanessa, or his sister Jenny, who is dating Blair's ex-boyfriend Nate. It promises to be a wild Christmas for everyone.

The third Gossip Girl book lacks the sparkle of its predecessors as characterizations fall flat, the writing feels rushed, and many consistency errors appear. Gossip Girl's omniscient voice is boring rather than snarky. Name-dropping of brands becomes more important than the story, as though this were a Neiman Marcus catalog rather than a novel. Who is Gossip Girl? Who cares? All I want is some plot development.
