Rating: Summary: This is book is my all-time favorite Review: Wilson Rawls has written one of the best books ever written. Where the Red Fern Grows is the most exciting and heartwarming story about a boy and his relationship with his two dogs. The story tells about how hard he tried to earn money to buy dogs with the help of his grandpa. It tells how he and his dogs struggles with life's most dangerous time together and how they pull through. This book was read to me by my teacher in fourth grade who introduced us to a lot of great books. I read it again in sixth grade, which I don't usually do. I don't like reading books over again, but this was an exception. This book is one of the most thrilling books. That is if you like stories which have thoughts to it and parts that are so heartwarming, that you cry. I enjoyed the book very much, and I hope you will too. C U L8ER!
Rating: Summary: I think Where the Red Fern Grows is the best! Review: The Story is incredible! A boy who always wanted a dog raises his own money and walks to a far away town to buy them. It turns out that he bought the best two hunting dogs there was! The end made me cry because I never expected what happened to them! The book is amazing! If you haven't read it believe me it's worth the time!
Rating: Summary: The Perfect Book! Review: Where the Red Fern Grows is a magnificent book. I don't read or like to read a great deal, however, I couldn't put this book down. At times I felt as if I was actually romping through the Ozark mountains with my faithful ccompanions, Old Dan and Little Ann. I was filled with a different emotion with each turn of the page. some happy some sad, yet as tears filled my eyes, I continued to read. I love this book!
Rating: Summary: Grrrrrrrrrreat! Review: I loved this book, my teacher loved this book, my many friends loved this book. I must admit that I cried at the end....okay! Okay! I practicaly bawled. But that just shows what a great book it is. I really think that you should read it, if you want to feed your brain the power and knowledge of a kick @$$ book. Alrighty? Okay. So you go do that.

Rating: Summary: The best book I have EVER read!!! Review: This book is so wonderful. I read it the first time when I was in second grade and have read it over ten times since then!(I am now entering the seventh grade.) It's a very heartwarming tale about a boy who's only dream is to have two coon hounds, and the hardships that he and the dogs encounter when he finally gets them. Every time that I read it, I cry so hard at the end! I recommend it to ANYBODY who wants a fabulous book to read endless times.
Rating: Summary: An unforgettable experience to read aloud or on your own. Review: This book was read to me and my entire 5th grade class in 1968, and I still remember it in detail. During the reading of it, at times there was not a dry eye in the classroom. Even the teacher was teary-eyed and emotional! What a great way to expose children to some very crucial history and lifestyle in another part of our country! I am now going to read it to my children, and I know we will still enjoy it just as much!!
