Summary: Exciting! Meghan Hoover gives it 2 thumbs up!
Review: I thought this was a wonderful book! Our class at school read this together, and we all thought it was great! When we were done reading it, we watched the movie together. You should look into that. There are some differences, but it makes you laugh and cry all at the same time, just like the book.

I think Rawls really got into the details in the book, which makes you look at it like a movie. In other words, it really helped you imagine the book in your head.

You might think, "Oh.... that's way too long for me." But it's really not. If you get into the book, you don't want to put it down. you could read the whole book in a day if you really set your mind to it. Of course a lot of people probably don't because they don't have that much time. But you don't need to get it done right away. Reading before you go to bed is a really good time.

That's all I have to say about this excilent novel. I hope all of you out there that read Where The Red Fern Grows enjoyed it as much as I did. Read On! :o)

Review: I liked this book but it was a little gross. I liked the way the author ploted the story but I didn't like when the dog died. It's a strong story.

Review: It has been such a long time since I've read it, but what I do remember is fabulous. Wilson Rawls does a great job describing everything, and gets you emotionally tied to the book. For anyone that enjoys great literature, this simply is a must read. -Rachel

Review: Sophie Rawls lives in Janesville, Wisconsin, where I live also. Without her help, WHERE THE RED FERN GROWS would never have been written. It is the best piece of fiction I have ever read. I was thrilled to talk with Sophie and see her collection of editions of the book, including the first one to roll off the press. She signed my copy as my daughter took our picture.

Rating: 4 stars
