Rating: Summary: moving and touching Review: Where the red fern grows is a very emotional story about a boy and his 2 dogs. I think the book is good for readers that like to be moved by a book. It shows the authors creativity because as you read you feel you become part of the book
Rating: Summary: Marvelous Review: When I was in elementary school, my fifth grade teacher read this story to my class. By the end of the book the entire class was overwhelmed with emotions. Now that I have a child, I can't wait for him to be able to read this book.
Rating: Summary: The most amazing book Review: This book was absolutely amazing. We had to read it in school, and everyone loved it. The writing was so good. The ending made me cry a whole lot, but that was okay. It shows how much the book takes you into its own world, makes you feel like a whole new character in it, and makes you feel the pain that Billy and his family do. I would reccomend this book to anyone, but get the box of tissues ready, and prepare yourself for an excitng, uplifting, and all around great book.
Rating: Summary: This is a very heart warming and exciting book. Review: I like this book because it gives truth about faith, companionship, and love. The two hound dogs, Old Dan and Little Ann, never give up on eachother. It has humor, many exciting events, and sorrow all in one. This is the most believable and wonderful book I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: Good book overall, but kind of sad at the end Review: I liked this book alot. It was easy to read, and included many details which helped you get to know the main characters in the story very well. You could really understand the characters and how they felt in different situations. It was both sad and happy.
Rating: Summary: This is the best book! Review: I had to read this book last year for my language class. It was the best book i have ever read(that is surprising because i never read books!) It is about a boy and 2 dogs. I dont want to tell the story, so do yourself a favor and read this wonderful book!
Rating: Summary: Very interesting and well-written. Review: The book portrays a great story of how close two things can be. The characters are all very down-to-earth and extremely real. The things that happen to Billy and his dogs are all things that happened to a boy growing up in the mighty Ozarks. I give Wilson Rawls 2 thumbs up for this great family classic. I think that everyone should own this book. GO WILSON GO!

Rating: Summary: A summary for my english teacher (Mr.K.) Review: I thought "Where the Red Ferns Grow" was a rather entertaining book. I though it was entertaining and well written. The book was about a young boy by the name of Billy, and his two dogs Old Dan and Little Anne. It is a tail of a wonderful friendship that no human can acheive with anther human. It talks about Billy's strugles to get his dogs and his journeys with them. In a way this is like "Shiloh" another good book. I think it is just wonderful that a young boy about my age can have such a amazing friendship with his dogs. He wanted to stay with them forever! Overall I just want to say that this was a great book and even though I had to read it for school I sugest it to anyone who loves animals and great advengure!
