Summary: The red fern legend
Review: This book is about a man who overhears a dog fight. He goes over to stop the comotion. The dog being bit up was traveling back home. This man, Billy, feeds the dog and gets him all rested up. Upon doing this he remembers his boyhood. This book has action, thrills, and laughs. My favoriate part was when Old Dan, Billy's dog, Bawled at a mountain lion. Doing so he scared himself! This book is Great for dog lovers.

Review: Billy wants coon hounds so bad that he saves up his money for two years to buy them. When he finally gets them they are the best coons in the Ozarks. Dealing with death, victory, and lots more, Billy learns to be a man in this story.
This a great book but in the end you should be prepared to cry, boys or girls.

Review: "Where the red fern grows" is a good book but as titled it is simply hunting. watching the characters do the same thing over and over again becomes boring. I also find it somewhat interesting because some parts are sort of cool. this book I found hard to finish because of the slow drabbing continual repition of words and scenes

Review: I think the best part of the book Where The Red Fern Grows was when the two dogs Old Dan and Little Ann killed the Mountain Lion. There was blood and guts. Old Dan got split open by the claws of the Lion. Old Dan latern died. Little Ann couldn't bare without Old Dan so she died.The warst part was when Rubin triped and cut his stomeck. He bleed to deth. Billy could't for give him self. He thought he had killed Rubin. Ranie ran home and never returned. His parents could't understand what Ranie was trying to say to them.Billy wins a golden cup at the hunting cotest.

Summary: This good book.
Review: This story was one of the best storys I have ever read.It's not often you find a good book. This story gave me an idea of how life is out in the hills.This story made me laugh ,made me cry,and it mad me feel how the charecters in the story felt. I really like this book and I reccomend it for any reader.Yet if you really love dogs this is a book for you!The worst part that I read was when the dogs die.It is very wondrefull book that takes you though life and gives you some insite. This a true story of a person going though hard times along time ago.

Summary: the greatest book in the whole world
Review: This story really got me going there are many things that happen in this story. There is action, adventure, and it also very sad. Ever since I have read Where the Red Fern Grows it made me look a whole new way to look at life. The dogs would never give up since they did that they would always catch a coon. That is how they did there best in the coon hunt. It made me never to give up that way I can get somehing bettter in life. there are good and bad parts in the story. The good things in the story are hat the dogs never gave up on Billy. The bad thing is that the dog had to die. well it still was agreat book.

Summary: A Summary on Were The Red Fern Grows
Review: The auther of the book is walking down the street when he sees a dog fight and remembers something about his past. When he was a little boy he wanted a dog so bad but they coast a lot of money. He worked at his grandfathers shop to earn the money that he needs for the dogs. When he does make the money for the dogs, he sends the money off to where the dogs are. He has to travel far, with-out permission, to get his dogs. After he gets his dogs from in town, the people there make fun of him and his dogs, thats where the fight begins between Billy and the boys living there. Over the summer and fall Billy teaches the dogs, that he named Little Ann and Old Dan,how to hunt for coons. They hunt every night that they get a chance. One day when Billy was at his grandfathers shop, the Pitchard boys came in and said "I've heard a lot about those dogs of yours." The boys then made a bet. The night that they were doing the bet Rubin Pitchard was running with an ax in his hand and fell. A really big compotition came up, and Billy entered it. One of the nights that they were hunting for the compotition it was snowing when grandpa fell and got left behind. Billy's family moves to the city after a tragic thing happens. s thats where the fight starts.

Summary: Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls
Review: Where the Red Fern Grows was a great book. It has struggles, charcters overcoming hard times, and some the custest dogs I've heard of. Although it's sad, it is happy to. I have read this book many times and every time it seems to get better and better.
I'm twelve years old and I like adventure. If you like adventure,suspense, and dogs I think you will like this book. I gave it five stars and if you read it I bet you would to.
