Summary: My oppinian of "Where the Red fern Grows"
Review: This books deserves 5 stars because it was an awsome book. It had many detals and plenty of elaboration. It also had life long lessons in it. It taught me that what you give is what you get and to always persevere to get what you want. I really enjoyed the reality in this book. It had real problems that many people have had to deal with it. I also really liked the morals of the story. Wilson Rawls wrote one of the best books i have ever read. 5HBB

Billy and his grandpa keep trying to prove that Little Ann and Old Dan are the best. Althout Billy has hade some bad situations conserning the prichard boys, Billys grandpa still talks him into entering Little Ann and Old Dan into a contest where Billys dogs prove they ARE the best.
But every good exited book has a big sad part, in this book that big thing is that after Billy erns his dogs they....Well I'll let you find out.

Summary: Where The Red Fern Grows
Review: One of the big reasons I think it was a five star book was because I have something that relates to the book. See my dog died recently and it was an unexpected death. Billy would have never thought that his dogs would have died and that is the same with me. Also i think it is easier to understand a book when u can realate to it in a certin way. That helps me to read the book better when i can relate to it.

Summary: Where The Red Fern Grows
Review: This is one of the greatest books I've read. This is one of my all time favorite. I would have to say, it's the first book that I actually thought that was relly sad. I would rate this book a 5 star because it's relly great. In this book there was fighting, sad, and funny moments. When I read this book during class some of my classmates were actually crying thats how sad this book was. This book is mainly about Billy trying to get cound hounds. When Billy gets the 2 cound hounds he is relly happy after all that work he did in the Ozarks earning that money he trys to make them the best hunting dogs that they can be. This book is relly sad at the end [spoiler] thats why the book is so sad to me. I would recomend this book to anyone because it's relly exciting to read. 5KRP

However, he has never gotten them because his family is poor. One summer he gets the determination to go out and earn enough money to buy himself two coon hounds. When he finally gets the two hounds, he names them Little Ann and Old Dan. Summary: Where the Red Fern Grows
Review: Where the Red Fern Grows is one of the best books that I have read in a long time. It has all of the key things that make up a good book. It's full of action and suspense aswell as a heart warming a boy and his dogs. It takes place in the Ozark Mountains in Oklahoma during the early 1900s. Billy, a teenage boy works to earn money to get two coon hounds. He trains them into being the best hunting dogs around. Later Little Ann and Old Dan win a championship coon hunt. Many other suspenful things take place throughout the course of the entire book. To find out the ending of the book and what a red fern has to do with some hunting dogs you will have to read it. I promise you will never regret reading this incredible book. It's a great book and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a great book.

Summary: Passion, Love, Tragedy, Heart, Saddeness
Review: The book Where the Red Fern Grows taught me very valuable lessons in life. It is about a 10 year old boy that wanted two hounds so bad that he worked two years to get them. Billy's
parents were very poor so they could not aford to buy him the hounds. Nothing stopped him from getting to where he wanted to be. If it was going to get the dogs or going hunting with his dogs.
Billy is a very good trainer and friend to his dogs. I can't
believe that Billy lost all that. He was just accepted as a man and won 2 cups and money to prove it. He was very proud of himself and his two closest friends. Old Dan and Little Ann (his
dogs) brought him happiness. Then suddenly they took it away with their deaths. This story seemed so real and it has a will to make you turn the page. In the end Billy sees a red fern and he feels better because of the tale it has. The red fern ended up on his dogs graves. Again this is a very good book. 5 KAW

Summary: Dogs really are a man's best friend!
Review: Where the Red Fern Grows is an uplifting story of a young boy named Billy and his two hunting dogs named Old Dan and Little Ann. Billy always wanted coon hounds because he lived in the Ozark Mountains and hunting was in his blood! Because his family was poor, Billy worked odd jobs for two years to be able to buy Old Dan and Little Ann. Once he had his coon hounds, he realized they were special. They were the greatest hunters in all the land. They even won the Championship Coon Hunt which proved to everyone that they were the best. Billy was the happiest boy around until something tragic happened while he was hunting one night. Where the Red Fern Grows was truly a story of a young boy and his dogs, and the special relationship that grew between them. I really enjoyed reading this book, and I would recommend it highly to any boy or girl who likes to read stories about people and their pets. If you read this story, you'll realize that dogs really are man's best friends! 3rd period - BKB
