Review: Where the read firn grows is a great book. It takes you on an adventure of a boy and his dogs. The bond between Billy and his dogs is so real.
They have had many adventures but my favorite was when the dogs cought their first coon.The dogs work toghether so well it almost seems unreal. The ledgend of the red firn brings the book to life.

Review: I thought this story was alright. Billy is too sensitive about his emotions. He should grow up. At the end when the dogs die he shows some courage . When he works for the money he shows determination and responsibility. His worst enemy, the mountain lion takes the lives of his dogs. In the story he frequently hunts raccoons. If you like hunting this is a good book for you.

Review: The red fern is a nice story if you like hunting coons.I liked when Billy decided to go to the coon hunting coontest.I guess I liked because of the ecitment.
The boring part was the beginning.I like action it get you realy into the story.All books I think are boring at the beginnings.So it's not bad there's just no action.At the beginning
it talked about how his family dosen't have ennough money toget Billy hunting dogs.Then Billy savedhis money and got his huntinng dogs.With the rest of his money he spent it on his faamily.I think it's a okay book.

Review: This was an excelent book from cover to cover I have to admit.I think that every little boy that's a dog lover has some puppy love in him at some point in his childhood, but that's just the thing. Some girls may not want to read about a poor little boy with puppy love for the only kind of dogs that his family can't afford. The wholy plot of this story is great with all of the action and adventure that a lot of people can and want to relate to.So here I am, caught in the middle between thinking that this is a good book and then thinking that this book is not a very good. So this is the best reason that I could think of that this book should be rated three stars.

Review: This book is now my very favorite book. It has inspired me to read more books too.My favorite parts were when the mountain lion and Old Dan take on each other when Old Dan was just a pup. The love between Billy and his dogs is a very powerful love too. I reccomend this book to you.
If yu never liked reading before this book would probably inspire you too. This book was so great that when we were reading in the class, I was saying in my mind, let's keep reading, when we stopped to discuss a chapter or something.
This book has also inspired me to want to try harder on things like the time he saved $50 dollars in two years. I really liked the part when Old Dan and Little Ann saved Biily life when they jumped up as one against the mountain lion. In total conclusion, I would like to thank Mr. Thosby my teacher for choosing such a great book for our class to read. I would also like to thank him for being such a great teacher. Thank you. I hope that some day that you will read this book and understand why I wrote so much.

Review: I think the book was fairly good. I did think Billy could have been a little more mature. He cried in almost every paragraph. My friend and I thought it had good detail though. When Old Dan's howl could be heard over the whole ozarks. My mother thought the book was excellent. It's her favorite book. In conclusion, it's a good book
