Summary: THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!!!
Review: I'm 13 years old and my High School had "The Pigman" on my summer reading list. When I first bought the book I didn't want to read it, but when I started it I couldn't put it down. I felt I could relate to it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: i really liked this book but i found it a bit sad at the end
Review: I really liked this book and i could count it as one of my all time favourite books. I liked it how the story was told by two kids and the way you could easily relate to them. I thought the ending was a bit depressing and it made you think about what the kids had done by befriending this older man and betraying his trust. If you've never read this best-seller try it, it will make you think!

Summary: this is a great book....
Review: This is one of the best books I have ever read. Each of my homeroom teachers have had it since I was in 6th grade, but I never read it because I thought it looked boring. Then yesterday I needed something to do in study hall, so I picked it up. IT IS GREAT!!! John and Lorraine reminded me so much of myself that it scared me. But I would definately reccomend this book to anyone, even adults. IT IS NOT BORING!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very Good Book
Review: I recommend reading this book. It is interesting because two of the main characters, John and Lorraine, are writing about their experiences with the "Pigman". They have very different points of view and I liked reading it from both sides.

Summary: 70's teenage angst and Salinger ripoff
Review: Zindel seems to think that if you write about juvenille existentialism through the voice of a teenager, and use a lot of pseudo-realistic dialogue, you'll come up with something that's as good as J.D. Salinger. Nope, not even close. Proof of this is the fact that "Catcher" still is fresh and relevant, while "The Pigman", although more recent, seems far more dated, even quaint.

Summary: Two normal kids...with a touching story!
Review: This book was recommended for me by a teacher. It really made me think about my life as a teenager. It sincerely touched my heart. I recommend it for anyone!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: AWESOME
Review: I think this is one of the best books I have ever read. It shows how two teenagers deal with other people not like them and with death. Everyone can learn from John and Lorraine's experience with Mr. Pignati.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is the best
Review: The Pigman is such a great book! How Zindel tells it through two different people is really great because you know how both John and Lorraine felt about the Pigman. This is a heart-warming book with humor and seriousness. The Pigman is a must read!

Rating: 5 stars
