Summary: Quite the Depressing Novel
Review: Although some may enjoy this book, how it ever became a novel is beyond me. All of the drinking stealing, unhappiness, and heartbreak proved this book to be a 1 star book. It does not dipict teens today, any teens who would make friends with an elderly man such as Mr. Pignati would never do what John or Lorraine did to him. These characters made me feel depressed and unhappy and if reading this book hadn't been required reading in a class of mine I would never have read it.

Review: I had wanted to buy this book for a long time. But I was very dissapointed with it. Don't waste your time, and buy a better book. Maybe something written by J.K. Rowling.

Review: This was a badly written, stupid book. The point it tries to make about being nice to people who are different is completely overshadowed by all the drinking, stealing, smoking, etc. that the author condones in the characters. I had to read this book for English class or I would have stopped after the first chapter. Don't waste your time.

Review: The Pigman in our opinion was/is a great book and we highly recommended it to our friends. This book is great for teenagers such as I and my classmates, because it relates to real world teen living. Basicly we feel that this is a very interesting book, and we guarantee it will have you reading from cover to cover!

Review: Do you like melancholy yet gelastic books? If you do, you will love the novel, The Pigman. It shows how two kids fall in love with a lonely man. A tragedy will soon set the trio apart. This was a very well written story and I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Good book
Review: This book is very good for the teenagers ( like me ), because it's ABOUT them. One boy and one girl, who have problems with their families, meet one old man, whose problem is that his wife has died, and he's alone in his home, if we don't count the pigs. Then the teens and the pigman become big friends....until the old man dies. This story reminds me about many bulgarian films, but this is another story. Thanks to the people , who lost their time to write more detailed summary. I have a homework to do, and so you helped me much. I tried to make big summary too, but this is the result. Just read the book and you will see how great it is! :p =D

This book will strike your imagination into overdrive, and will make you feel like a child all over again. It is about a little man that collects pigs and two teens that take him for granted. They don't realize how much they needed him until they lost him.
