Review: I give it three stars because it was not the greatest book but it wasn't bad. The only reason I gave it three stars is because the characters John and Lorraine were kind of colorful. It really gave away the ending by saying the pigman dies. You pretty much know what's going to happen. Overall, I might read the sequal. Only if it didn't give away the ending.

Review: I read the book called the Pigman.It was written by Paul Zindel.The book was not to bad over all. It was a fast paced novel that was just like real life. I kind of liked it because you could relate to John & Lorrain. Other than that it really wasn't that good. I like action,adventure,and mystery. This book deffinetly wasn't any of them. Another part that wasn't any good is that John and Lorrain say about the same things when they switch off chapters.

Review: I thought the book was well written and decriptive. The overall book was enteresting and fun to read. The best part of the book was when they were shoping and they were scating throught the mall. Well another cool part of the book was when they were scating in the pigmans house. There were some sad parts in the book but most of the book was fun to read. So if you now wantto read the book now dont thank me thank the auther.

Review: I thought The Pigman was a nice little book. It isn't the best one I've read, but I enjoyed the book. The thing I liked most about the book was the problems that happened to the people you could relate to. The three main characters are Lorraine, John, and of course, Mr.Pignati or the pigman for short. The problems with Lorraine were that she didn't have a father which now days in our society a lot of children don't. Her mom had to work a lot and she also had to raise a child on her own which is another thing that a lot of mothers have to go through. They also didn't have much money. With John, he is a normal mixed up teen and he totally dis-ownes his parents and any other family members. John likes to go out and have a good time, get a little drunk and sleep it off. He is pretty much like a normal High Schooler. Both Lorraine and John like to do what normal High Schoolers do,play little pranks. When they meet Mr. Pignati, they realize he has problems just like them and he understands their situations. I think that this was an okay book and I would recomend it.

Review: I didn't like the Pigman because of several reasons. First, it wasn't the type of book I like to read. I prefer a book with lots of suspense and action. The Pigman didn't have these qualities that should be in books. The story lacked excitement and pizazz. Another reason I didn't like the pigman is because it lacked a steady plot. The story bounced back and forth between situatiuons and confused the reader. You had to pay very, very close attention or else you would get totally lost. The story in general was messy when it comed to organizing a good plot, setting, date, and object. I would not reccommend this book to another reader. That is why I did not like the Pigman.

Review: The Pigman book is alittle boring to me, but it has some ok parts to it. I really think the author Paul Zindel should have put more events and more action in it. The type of books I like should be intresting and the type you never want to put aside. I feel that my favorite part would have to be the long but some what great conversation with them talking to Mr Pignati and trying real hard to make give in , and give them the money.I think that what they did to them was really mean. I do feel really bad for Mr.Pignati, but it's only a story. The reason why I gave this book a three star rating is because the author could have took alittle more intrest in the book. So if you are into action books I really wouldn't recomend this to you, but if you like a quiet kind of book where you can relax to then this one's for you.

Summary: Thinking about "The Pigman"
Review: I think that in the case of the book "The Pigman" if you like adventure or mystery books than this is really not something you should read. If you do however like Realistic Fiction, repeation of events, pigs, insane people who talk to baboons, or even a roller skating couple who share their first kiss, this may be a book for you.So if you like sappy books then maybe you should read this one. The book in more than afew parts was VERY BORING!!! But in others it was rather INTERESTING!!! In the beginning it was interesting hearing about the "Bathroom Bomber". The book did not have enough bad charecters in it. The entire middle of the book was a bore-war I literally had to fight to stay awake. But the end made up for it. But don't worry I won't tell what happens.Paul Zindel could have done alot better then he did in this book. if you do want to read this book be carefgul because there's no cliffhangers or turning points or anything like that. But the book has instead a girl abused a boy who was a little bit pshcopathic. I rate it 4 stars.

Review: I think the book The Pigman is a little on the boring side. I like books that have action and make you want to keep reading and not put the book down. I did not like this book because it didn't have any action or suspence to it. I think the characters in this book were a little dull. I don't think its a cool book when the same people sit there day after day playing phone games. In this book nobody ever got into any trouble. I like books were people get into trouble. on a scale from 1-3 I would give it a 3. I would have given it higher than a 3, but it never really got my attention.

I wanted more action and adventure.If you want action and adventure this probably isn't the book for you. Review: I did not like the book The Pigman.I thought the whole book was kind of dull.It repeated itself several times.To me it seemed like the kind of book you would fall asleep reading.In the book the characters were not that intiresting because about every day thay would do the same thing they had done the day before.Also in the story Mr.Pignati was a little bit mentally challenged (example-he talked to a baboon).I did not really enjoy the book The Pigman,so if you like adventure books like me then I think you will have the same opinion as I did.
