Rating: Summary: Best one in the series! Review: School's almost over, and all of the characters of this Gossip Girl novel are stressfully awaiting their college acceptions (or rejections). This particular book is very full of suspense, and it really changes tone very quickly. It also confronts real issues with a I'm-a-spoiled-rich-kid flair. I won't give anything away as you may be planning to read it, but it is by far the best in the series. But, if you haven't read the previous three, you would be totally lost, and I recommend reading them before you read this one. It's a really easy read, it only took me a day or so to finish it cover to cover. I can't wait for the next one to come out!!!
Rating: Summary: This series is SOO good, but the 4th was not the best! Review: I LOVE this series. I am a slow reader, and I always read these books in most two days...They are sooo good.I live in Philadelphia in "Rhittenhouse Square" and this is exactly what my life is like with my friends. I love when they talk about NY, b/c I have an appt. on 68th and 5th. These books are soooo good, but unfortuneately the fourth was not the best...I thought it didn't put the charcters in a good light. Don't get me wrong, I still read it in like a day! Even though, I didn't think this book was the best, I still can NOT wait for the 5th to come out...P.S--Who is gossip girl??!!!....I sooo can't wait to find out!...I read A-list, and it was pretty good, but not as good as the gossip girl series. If you like these kind of books, read "the nanny diaries", "normal girl"-by molly long-fast!
Rating: Summary: what happens next! Review: okay, heres the deal, blair is one of the most comfused people in the book, she is so hateful but you cant help but feel bad for her and all the things going on in her life. serena's cool but they never reveal her character in enough depth, it just seems like she's always just roaming around. i was kinda glad that vanessa and dan hooked up but i was so surprised about dan cheating on her, i think that made the book more interesting and so did nate and his new rebound. what i really wanna know is when is the next edition coming out i wanna know whats gonna happen.
Rating: Summary: By a 17 yr old girl Review: I love reading these Gossip Girl books. I've read all the other ones in at most, two days, which is fast for a slow reader such as I. Like most teen girls, I love getting into worlds of superiority, fashion, wealth, sex, and beauty. I'll admit that. This latest Gossip Girl wasn't the best one. It got kind of boring, and as shallow as I am, I didn't care about Vanessa because she isn't pretty. Or Jenny and her new friend, really. Serena was becoming way too unrealistic which somehow takes some things away. I'm kind of sick of Blair's character. I skipped some chapters because I didn't care about it. I didn't like the numbers of new characters that were boring. But what I love is the way most of it influences me. In All I Want Is Everything, in my opinion, the best of them all, it talked about Serena putting on Lancome self-tanner and I bought it the next day and it made me happy. It makes me want to be as glamorous as they are, in a way, which is probably why we like reading it. I don't know what shallow type of reader I am, but it is the truth about most of Gossip Girl readers. I'm really looking forward to getting the A-list and reading it. But yeah..even though it seems like I'm bashing Gossip Girl, I'm still needing to read the next one. Funny, isn't it?
Rating: Summary: The Best One Yet Review: I have read the entire Gossip Girl series and I must say that this is the best one yet. While I admit that part of my intial appeal to it was the mention of a certain Orange Pigskin Hermes Birkin Bag, I have now grown to know and love these charcters. This is certainly not your average teen book. In addition to more sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll than ever, we see our favorite characters all trying something new. We witness college acceptances, rejections, and everything else. I would tell you about the surprises we see from Blair, Nate, Serena, Jenny, Chuck, Vanessa, Dan, and the rest of the upper-east side socialites, but I totally don't want to ruin it for you! Just get the book and read it! You'll be addicted, baby!
Rating: Summary: Silly entertainment, but what'll happen next??? Review: This book definitely does NOT qualify for the label 'literature'. But then again, literature sometimes is rather boring. This book however is quite entertaining if only for a couple of hours. And...it leaves you wanting to read more. Basically it's a good soap for readers and one gets to like the characters more and more with each book. If you're thinking about buying this book start with just 1, but remember: you just might end up with all of them!
Rating: Summary: woah Review: i finshed this book in lieratly 5 hours and i ahve to says it was the best of series. i couldnt put it down...once. So many suprising twist in this one. and the ending really gets u, so close to finding out who gossip girl is, u think they give it awya but u never know. buy this book...now, but make sure u read the rest of the series. i would say this is the best bookive ever read, or enjoyed the most but it is truly entertaining and it really is a guilty pleasure
Rating: Summary: Good but more to come... Review: I am a die hard fan of these books. Of course i had this rushed to my house so i could read it. Like always i sat down and read the book cover to cover in one sitting. The book did give new twists and finished up some of the old twists but some how i didn't enjoy it as much. But thats ok since i read in the New York Times when they did an article on the gossip girl series that there are 5 more books coming! Yes 5 i could hardly contain myself since i thought this was the last one. Hopefully the next book will fulfill me.
Rating: Summary: Who is Gossip Girl? Review: Ahh, the question that all Gossip Girl fans have been wanting to know the answer to since we first read the first installment to this series. In the fourth book, "Because I'm Worth It", you become even more confused and want to know who Gossip Girl is even more. I finished this book within a few hours and the question still burns inside of me, "Who IS Gossip Girl?" Will we ever find out? I've heard rumors that this is the last Gossip Girl, but I have a feeling there is going to be at least one more, with the ending that was given. Many different suspects are listed and asked as Gossip Girl, including Kati, Isabel, and even Chuck Bass. But who is the real Gossip Girl? Read the book, and maybe you might be able to figure it out on your own. Maybe not. This is a great book for the devoted readers of this series. Have fun. You know you love me, ~Lana~
Rating: Summary: filth Review: this book is filth. i saw the endless same stories as the first ones. it was a drastic move, but they made it, and got my worst review of the year. i hate to stamp on the legacy, but teen books are going down in flames. you see, angus, thongs, and ffs was the best and none can comepare. dont walte your breath, and dont write a review
