Rating: Summary: Because it's not that worth it Review: I LOVE the gossip girls series. I bought the 2nd book first and loved it. So I went back, bought the 3rd one, and then the 1st one. Then when *Because I'm Worth It* came out, I got all excited and got it immediately. BUT, I must say, it's the worse one out of all the four books. It's much much less eventful, and some pages were so boring I had to skip them altogether. Hopefully the 5th book will be better...
Rating: Summary: Gossip Girl all the way!!!!! Review: I am a big fan to this book..I (...) enjoy every mintue of it. I never really had time to do extravagant things but this book makes me escape to other people's shoes. Its a teeny bopper version of Cruel Intentions but its cool in my book and I would definetly indulge my friends to read this great book.
Rating: Summary: A Book For all those who love Gossip Review: This book was addicting. Every chapter ended leaving you in suspense. Whenever I picked it up, I could not put it down. I can't wait until the 5th one comes. It's meant for all those mature enough to handle the material. It's a life you can only imagine yourself in. If you love gossip, then you will love this book.
Rating: Summary: This book is the Bomb Yo! Review: Dear Gossip Girl Wow, since i started reading this book, i can not stop reading it. The book get interesting more and more when you reading it. And the most interesting thing about is because New York is the main place that mension in this book. I would like to get the other three book, but i didn't found it yet. I don't know how i miss the first one. Blair is doing mad thing with that Owen of hers, i promise you she will get busted. And i heard Owen daughter goes to Yale.
Rating: Summary: Leaves you wondering. Review: A million questions are left unanswered as the fourth book in this enthralling series comes to a close. The Mahattanites we love to hate are stirring things up in New York - Blair is unsure about early acceptance into Yale, Nate's in trouble for his weed smoking, and Serena just seems to be living this cool, carefree life where nothing goes wrong...unless you consider her breakup w/ Aaron, Blair's brother, to be a HUGE sad thing. I like reading about these girls, these girls whose lives are so drastically different from my own. Though I preferred the other books in the series a bit more, this one still pleases, still piques the interests of Gossip Girl fans. Why complain?
Rating: Summary: i prefered the others... Review: i really love gossip girl. i love how it can combine trashyness and class to make something so juicy and enjoyable to read. the forth one was kind of a disapointment in that there was a bit to much trash. plotlines seemed to spiral off everywhere and the new charators seem weird and no so fabulous as the original upper east siders. however as long as they keep blair in im happy (she is undoubtably the best charachtor and most likely 2 b gossip girl). also dont like how this book deals with 'real' issues as i know no-one who is anything like the spoilt, rich, uber-teens who inhabit this book. also if you cant laugh at them, wheres the fun?
Rating: Summary: The best book!! Review: I love all the Gossip Girl books. This one is awesome, as well!! I have told everyone about it!!! I can't wait for the next one to come out! These books are great, they tell stories of problems and fun exactly like the stuff im going through right now! Its cool to know that im not the only one!
Rating: Summary: STretCHes the Story line Review: The first two books in the series were good, but now it's just getting to the point where everything seems forced and loses credibility... nevertheless, all my favorite characters are here: especially Blair and perhaps Serena. Jenny and Nate too. Serena doesn't have much substance and I wonder where she is going to end up next year. Blair will probably get into Yale and in a later book, begin shopping at Barney's for a new wardrobe to bring to Yale. I hope she becomes a law student. But you know what? No one cares about what Blair is gonna study, all they care about is how much better-looking she is than Jenny, how many times she can throw up and still look glam, and how self-absorbed she can really be. She's evil yet I totally love her because she's realistic and smart. Serena is just too much of a ditz for me-- will she ever settle down and find a passion of hers except for dancing naked on French Beaches, I wonder. I also wish Nate will settle down. The fleeting liasons are just getting too much for me!!!
Rating: Summary: Change of pace Review: I am a seventeen year old who loves to read. I have to say, I usually don't read books like this, but it was a fun change of pace. This is especially true for those who really don't like to read anyway. As many of the other reviews say, and I have to agree, it's a fun, trashy teen novel. I actually found myself wanting to get right to the next one because they all leave you hanging. I hope they conclude it soon. I was on the fence about buying them, but I just got through with a stressful semester and wanted something light, and it delivered just that.
Rating: Summary: Smokingly HoOOOTTT Review: Eversince I have read the first gossip girl..I became addicted!! this is by far the flirtiest, coolest and sexiest book ever!!!I truly adore Blair Waldorf..smart,sexy and confident!!! Im also inlove with Serene Van Derwoodsen..the coolest, prettiest and carefree of them all. cant wait for the next book....
