Summary: Very good...
Review: I loved the first book "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and this one is nearly as good, if not better. It starts out as summer, a year after the girls found out about the pants. Everyone but Tibby, who is going off to a film class, is staying home. Until Bee decides to go on a trip to visit her grandmother. This starts the hilarious story with a new twist. This book made me laugh out loud, but it also made me cry. Parts of it made me really mad, because of the sheer stupidity of the girls or their friends. This book is really really good, but the one complaint I have is the fact that Carmen is a brat throughout the entire book, until the last few chapters. She was my favorite character in the first book, but in this one I found her unlikeable. All in all a very good book though.

Summary: Great Book
Review: I thought this was a great book. Not as good as the last book but it definatly had its good points. You can totally get into the story and you feel like you are really there with the girls and feel all of their pain and joy. I reccomend this book to all of you who loved the first summer of the sisterhood and you wont be dissapointed!!have fun reading it!

Summary: really great
Review: While i found "sisterhood of the travelling pants" better, i still found this book very entertaining and funny. I wont give you the story line because i know that you already have that. This is a great sequel to the last book and i recommend it to anyone who LOVED the first one! I know i loved both of them

Summary: A DC girl who LOVES this book
Review: Bridget, Lena, Carmen, and Tibby's second summer is even better than the first! The pants are now designated the "Love Pants" and all the girls are trying to get the pants to work their magic. But, Bridget has let herself become depressed and quit soccer, and so she decides to go to Alabama and visit the grandmother that her father has been cutting off from her. She realizes that with the extra fat and dyed hair guys dont fall over themselves for her anymore, and through a small-town league soccer team and her grandma she regains her old self (plus there is a cute guy) Lena is having trouble with Kostos in a long distance relationship, but her mood completely changes when he comes to visit her for a week! I thought this part of the book was great, but even more surprising was how much more I enjoyed Tibby's summer in this book. She goes to film school, and she finds out about respecting people in a really hearfelt way (as in, when i was reading it it wasnt sappy and i understood where she was coming from). Carmen has more of a role in this book as well, because she has to deal with overcoming the only child syndrome. She gets to work the Love Pants as well :)
The only thing I am going to reveal about the ending (because it is so good and I dont want to spoil it) is that it actually managed to make me cry, which never happens. The ending is amazing and wants you to have the third book right next to you to pick up and read! It ties together everything the girls have figured out about themselves as well as some of the mystery surrounding the September moms. It is really great.
And, on the side, by far the coolest thing about this book is that it is set where I live. Street names, places, and hangouts are all things that I know (and in some cases go to). If ANYONE happens to live in the DC-metro area I would SERIOUSLY reccomend these books because it gives you such a thrill reading about places you pass by or streets you drive on every day!

Summary: Just as Good:)
Review: After I read 'the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants' I didn't think any book could be as good, including the sequel. Was I ever wrong! This one was just as good, maybe better. It had more emotion, maybe a few less laughs. All of the charectars seem even more real to me, especially Tibby who was not as good last book. If you've read 'the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants', you have to read this book. You HAVE to.

Summary: even better than the first!
Review: The sisters are growing within their friendship and independantly. This time Carmen and Lena are in Bethesda, but both are so busy it's like the last summer, when they had to communicate with letters and (this time) instant messenger. The pants still make their rounds, and are helpful in reinforcing last summer's lessons. I read this book in a span of 24 hours (I would have been finished sooner but I had to study - stupid finals) and when it was over I immediately wanted to read it again. There are some more great lines that will make you burst out laughing, but be warned: this book is more emotionally involving than the first. It's worth it, though, as this is wonderful for the sisters' journeys. The Second Summer of the Sisterhood deserves to be moved to the top of your reading list. It's just fabulous.

Summary: Another Summer of Fun
Review: I loved this book. I got it the day it came out, and read it before the end of the night. All I can say is that Ann Brashares out did herself again. Although this book is filled with a little bigger emotions and some more problems, the pants will keep your attention until way after midnight.

Summary: GREAT
Review: I loved the second book even more than the first book. It went much deeper than the first book, but was still really funny at many parts. It also combined the stories of the sisterhood's moms. They were in the book much more, and it was interesting to see how they came together. I was really [mad] at Kostos though, but i can't say why since it ruins all the parts about Lena. Also at some parts tibby was really annoying cause she couldn't see what was in front of her eyes. but the parts with bridget and carmen and lena made up for the tibby parts. it was really really really good, and if u've bothered to read the first book u won't be disapointed.!!![.]

Summary: The Second Summer Of the isterhood-not as great as the first
Review: I have to say, I was extremely excited for the second book in this series to come out. I enjoyed the first book very much. I felt that Carmen's summer was boring and there were no inportant events. She is upset about her mom's behavior and acts so childsih, i couldnt stand to read it. The beginning of Lena's summer is a bit slow but as it goes on, it gets better, i enjoyed her section as i reasched the middle of the book. Tibby's adventures at film camp are fun to read but can also come to be a bit slow. She grows as a person and her part is pretty good. I really enjoyed bridget's summer. She actually did something that was out of the ordinary-she took a big risk. i looked forward to her sections. her summer turned out very interesting. overall, i think the second summer of the sisterhood is worth it to read, but dont get your hopes up.

Summary: Wow.
Review: I expected something drastic to happen to Bee again this time. Yet, it seemed everything dramatic happened to Lena. Very weird. Everyone is in for many surprises. I dont want to spill everything but Lena and Kostos go through something very horrible. Bee goes through a rough time in her mother's hometown. Tibby and Brian...well..she finally realizes she likes him. Carmen finally gets a full conversation from Paul. But it was an awesome book. I stayed up all night to read the rest of it. Its addictive.
