Summary: Jerry Spinelli: Another Brilliant Novel
Review: Stargirl, is an enchanting novel by one of the best childrens writers in the world. This novel covers basics well-rounded children should have. Those traits including self-esteem, unselfishness, love, generosity and much more. This is just an enchanting book, maybe one of the most well written plots I have ever seen ( and i have read a lot of novels).

Summary: A love story with star quality!
Review: This is a fantastic example of a lovestory. Stargirl is that quirky girl you can't HELP but love her unique style. Leo, the person who's telling the story, tells his issues on being different than others and wanting to fit in and wants to be with Stargirl still.

I also like the fact that it isn't your really typical love story. This kind of goes beyond the kissing and making out scene. The story goes deeper than that, minus those really cheesy stuff you expect when people go deeper than kissing.

Jerry Spinelli, the author, although makes many humorous and clever ideas to keep you reading, but also makes a melancholy air to easily feel sympathetic in some events. I absolutely love his unique writing and the details you'll have, just enough to not annoy you and say "Get on with it already!!!" I especially recommend this to people, and hope you'll enjoy this story about the girl named Stargirl.

Summary: Stargirl, a modern day Pollyanna
Review: Stargirl is the new girl at school,but not just any girl. Stargirl is charming, delightful and very different. She is almost spellbinding and Leo Borlock is smitten along with practically everyone else at Mica High. Everyone that is but Hillari Kimble. While Hillari fumes the rest of the student body embraces stargirl to the point of imitating her. They even make her a cheerleader. Then Stargirl goes too far, and as much as they embraced her at the beginning of the schoolyear, for the rest of the schoolyear they shun her with a stony silence. Leo has to choose between Stargirl and his friends, and the choice he makes will effect him for the rest of his life. The theme of this novel is non-conformity and the lonliness it brings with it. It is an archetypal story written with some messianic symbolism.

Stargirl is a modern day Pollyanna, and I mean this in the most positive way. She sees good in everyone and finds meaning in the little joys of life. She has an irresistible spirit that spills out and touches everyone she meets. Stargirl has an active imagination and lives part of her life going on mythical adventures. She shares this with Leo when she takes him to the "enchanted place". Unfortunately just like Pollyanna things begin to happen to Stargirl that no amount of positive thinking can overcome. This book is a quirky approach to showing us that it is okay to be a non-conformist even if things don't work out for the best. Remember Jesus.

Summary: Touching and beautiful
Review: I read from chapter 7 until the end in one sitting, and as the end drew near I was attempting to pull from a hat more pages so the book didn't have to end. When it did, I was close to tears. You want to cry for many reasons, most of which are plot-oriented, but mostly you want to cry because you are not and will never be Stargirl. You will never be that beautiful and free. This is a truth, because although I can relate to her I'll never be her. This is a beautiful book.

Summary: Fun to read...this stuff really happens
Review: This was a fun book to read about Stargirl. She was new at the high-school and she was a bit eccentric. She grew to be popular a few months after she arrived at the school, and a few months after that, was avoided in the halls. People stopped talking to her and this other boy, who were dating. You'll have to read the book to see how all of this came about, and it's really good. It has some good lessons for life, for example, not to care about what other people think about you. It was a fun book to read, and I loved the characters.

Review: I had to read this book for a report for school, and let me tell you, I usually loathe having to read books for school. The day I started reading this book, I also finished it. It was so good that I couldn't put it down. I do not know how to summarize such a book as Stargirl. It is one of the most descriptive and unusual books I have ever read. If you are sick of reading boring books, I suggest you get Stargirl. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Review: When I read Stargirl it was everyday at the book store after I had done my homework. And i could not turn the page quicly enough. The book is realy based on this girl but it's the guy telling the story. it's about a girl who is very special she plays ulekul or something like that. She wears long flowing dresses. She usses a canvas bag with a painted flower as a school bag. She is nothing but ordinary. She is special she dares to be real to be 100% herself i won't tell anymore of the story so I don't ruin it but it's one off those books that makes you think about where you stand and how you should realy B U. I stongly sugest you read this.!!!!!!

Review: My 15 year old daughter and I have both read this book, and agree that it is absolutely wonderful! Stargirl makes you think about why you do the things you do, and how little acts of compassion and joy can improve your world and the world of others.

Review: This was by far one of the best books i have ever read. it is about a strange girl who enters Mica High. At first peepz are whispering about her but then her popularity starts decreasing . People shun her becuz of her strangeness. A boy named Leo falls in love with her. But he has a choice to make : wut matters more, wut others think or wut she thinks?

i really luved this book and u NEED to read it.

Summary: Stargirl= wonderful!
Review: I started this book on one day in January, and it was so amazing, i devoured the whole thing in just 4 hours. I just couldnt put it down. Its wonderful that someone can express themselves in such a way that she can, even if it is just fiction, and it is just plain stupid somtimes that people cant express their individuality because they might lose their social status. After i read this,I was in shock for a minute, and then started planning my new priss free self. THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!...
