Summary: A fun filled novel!
Review: Jerry Spinelli has always written awesome books, but this book topped them all. When a new girl moves into town everyone loves her. She makes everyone feel like they are a part of something and she is never against anyone, but one day that loving and outgoing personality turns everyone against her. Everyone except Leo. This book made me think about not only what was happening to the characters in the book, but also how they related to me. The author does a fantastic job of making me want to read on. He ended lots of his chapters with unanswered questions or detailed plots. He also did a wonderful job of explaining each character in detail. Feeling like you know the characters always makes reading the novel more enjoyable. I would recomend this book to anyone who loves detailed, fun, positive books with a plot different from most others.

Summary: A Different and Unique Girl
Review: Stargirl a girl that came from home schooler to High schooler at Mica High school. She wasn't trying to fit in, and she wasn't into fashion either. She dress herself with skirt down to her feet, her eyes where big and her hair was sandy. She was sweet and kind, but she shouldn't stick up like that because her friends hammered her down. The only friend that she had at that time was Leo Borlock. The guy that felt in love with her, althought she was a totally different girl from the High School Girls, he felt in love with her. I recommed you this book, because the author Jerry Spinelli has write great books for kid and teenagers. He has a lot of stories that came from his experients with his wife and with his 7 Childrens. Jerry dedicates Stargirl to his Wife and childrens.

Review: Jerry Spinelli really struck gold with this one. It really explains about the life of this man and his experience with Stargirl. I think we all need a little Stargirl. This book really teaches a lesson about life and 'what would you do' situations. I loved it so much that I have read it tons of times. If anyone wants a feel good book about human interaction, you have to buy this book. I loved It!

Review: At first I was a little skeptical about reading Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. I didn't know what to expect in reading this book. But let me tell you this book was amazing. As a 15 year old girl it inspired me in so many different ways. For anyone that has ever felt different or out of place just once--should definitely read this book. You will definitely smile, probably laugh, and maybe even cry. This book is a must-read.

It was like reading about myself and my high school experience. When I was done I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I had to cry. So read this book!!!

Summary: Stargirl Shines
Review: A very interesting book. Its basically very good for any age but, I think middle schoolers will be able to relate to it the best. I was suprised it wasn't in the point of view of Stargirl,and was a little dissapointed, but I don't think it would be as good if it wasn't in the point of view of Leo. Jerry Spinelli is a very talented writer and this book diffenitly deserves an award.

Summary: Not your average teen book
Review: Stargirl is a classic teen book. The difference between this and your average teen book is the individuality it so cleaverly holds. The special characters bring you through an emotional story which shares with you the love and heartbreak, the pain and happiness, the popularity and dislike which Leo and Stargirl experience. No book I have read yet has been able to do so, and I am a great book fan. But I still find myself feeling this book was incomplete, and not leaving me wanting more. It seems mabye just that little spark was missing.

Review: this book changed my life. And reading it a couple of years ago, when I was young, got me to become myself and not care what anyone thought. I've kept it up with stargirl always my role model. It's never too late to discover and uncover the real you. as cheesy as it sounds, it's true and really pays off. so does reading this book! all my friends that I have made read this book loved it.

Review: How could i ever put in words how great this book is. I could never put it down, I finished it in 2 hours! I never like reading summaries of the book before I read it so I woln't spoil it for yah.... just you have to beleive me when I say its the greatest ever!!!! Read it and be blown away. This is deffinatley J. Spinelli's best!!! After I finished the book I had a whole new look on life! I wanted to changew my name and everything.... ok ill stop now givin to much away! You must read this book!!
