Summary: A Fun Book to Read
Review: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is a great book. The book begins as four best friends are saying goodbye for their first summer apart. While they are all very sad that they won't be seeing each other, they are excited for the adventures they know they will have. Before they leave, they discover a pair of "magic" pants that fit each of them perfectly. They decide that these pants will be their link to each other for the summer. Over the summer, the girls have life-changing experiences that make them more independent and self-aware. As they each receive the pants in the mail for their "turn" with them, they are reminded of the support they have from their friends back at home.
I gave this book five stars because it was so fun to read. I fell in love with all four of the characters, and couldn't put the book down. Parts of this book made me laugh out loud, while other parts were very sad. I was so disappointed when I finished it, because I didn't want the book to be over. I recommend this book to teenage girls who want a fun and easy read.

Summary: YA at it's finest!
Review: This is my absoulute favorite book in the ENTIRE world! It was a great book because of it's uniqueness and spunkiness! When i picked up this book, it had a really cool cover, but then i read it and it was like WOW! I've never read a better book in my life. What i liked most was it wasn't sappy. It had some romance, some friendship and different little quirks along the way,it was REALLY good.

Summary: Funny and Endearing
Review: Four friends are about to leave each other all summer. But, before they do, one of them finds a pair of magical jeans that fit each of them perfectly. They decide to send each other the jeans and share them. Once the girls split up, you travel with the pants from girl to girl finding out what happens to each of them over the course of the summer. Worth reading. I know a few of my students (6th graders) loved this book.

Summary: Like the Ya Ya's for teens
Review: A lovely book. I picked it up because the premise was so unique. It serves up some heavy doses of life-lessons in an easy to swallow style. Never preachy, never holier than thou - it still centers on the good old fashioned values of true love, friendship, sacrifice and respect. I would certainly recommend it for girls ages 13-16, but I am 40 and I'll tell you, I felt compelled to finish it in one sitting.

Summary: Creative and Good
Review: I thought this book was great. I am fourteen years old and I don't like to read very much. I was going on a trip and my parents told me I had to read. I chose this book and I thought it was very good. It was about what most teenage girls experience, with a little twist. I loved the book, and I hope Ann comes out with more books!

Summary: A great book!
Review: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is a very unique book. I've never read read anything like it. It's about 4 15 year old girls: Lena, Carmen, Tibby, and Bridget. For the first time the four best friends won't be spending the summer together. So when Carmen finds a pair of second hand jeans (the girls all try the pants on and it looks great on all of them) they decide to mail them back and forth to each other. Lena goes to Greece with her sister to visit their grandparents. Carmen goes to South Carolina to visit her dad. Tibby stays home in Washington D.C. Bridget goes to Soccor Camp in Baja California. Each character has their own story so it's kind of like 4 books all tied together (and shortened). This is a great book. You should definetely read it.

Summary: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Review: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is about four best friends. They have been together all of their lives. Their birthdays are all in the same month and they are all the same age. One summer they are all going different places. Lena will be going to Greece, Tibby will stay home, Bridget will go to soccer camp, and Carmen will go to her dad's house. Before they all leave, they are at Carmen's house helping her pack. They are looking in her closet and find these pants. Carmen remembers that she got them from a thrift shop a while back. Tibby really wants to wear the pants. She tries them on and they fit perfectly. Then Lena tries them on and they fit her perfectly too. After all the girls try them on they realize there is something wrong with these pants. They fit each and every one of them perfectly yet they are all different sizes. They decide that each of them will get to have the pants, one week at a time. They must write to the next person they pass them to and say what happened to them while wearing the Pants. The girls then make a list of rules, such as you must never wash the pants, never double cuff the pants, never think you're fat or say the word phat while wearing the pants, write to your sisters throughout the summer, and most importantly, Pants= love. Love your pals. Love yourself. While Lena has the pants in Greece a boy named Kostos falls in love with her. He mistakenly sees her naked and a lot of commotion starts. Lena then finds that she too loves Kostos at the end of the summer. Tibby has the pants while she is at home. She meets a girl names Bailey and they become good friends even though Bailey is younger than her. Tibby then finds out that Bailey has leukemia. One day Bailey gets rushed to the hospital. She manages to stay there for a while, but there is nothing the doctors could do. Bailey then passes away at the end of the summer and Tibby is so sad. Bridget goes to Baja California to go to soccer camp. She then meets a boy named Eric and she falls in love. She tries everything to win his heart. Eric really likes her, but says he can't be with her because camp rules say no affairs with counselors and campers. Bridget is heartbroken and doesn't know what to do. At the end of the summer Lena travels to visit her because she knew she was sad. That is something a true best friend would do. Carmen goes to her dad's house, but on the way she finds out he is getting married. She is so mad at him and hates her new family. She has no luck in the pants. She is so mad she goes home to Tibby and tries to keep her company when she is not worrying about Bailey. Carmen then realizes that she should go to the wedding and goes in the pants and she has a great time. I give this book two thumbs up. It really showed me what a true friend is. I think I am going to pass this book to all my friends to read because I now that they would enjoy it just as much as I did!

Summary: THE MOST AWESOMEST BOOK
Review: When I started reading this book, I was immediately [pulled] into it. The stories of the four girls is really an interesting one, and I will reiterate all my praise for this book to all my friends. If the title alone won;t cath your eye, the text most definately will...
In terms of favorite characters, I must side with Tibby. People who enjoy a good cry at the end of a great book will side with me on Tibby; the family gal will go for Carmen; coming of age is Briget; and those hopless romantics out there will LOVE Lena.
Regardless of what you like, you can always find something good in THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS.

Summary: Great book for teen girls :-)
Review: This book was really great a a good page turner!! When one story ended another story began. At first i thought the book would be childish and about stupid traveling pants but it isn't at all...its about 4 teenage girls going on vacations during the summer and their adventures with the pants.
