Summary: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Review: This book was thrilling and entertaining. It was about four girls who were spending their first summer appart. But they still felt that they were together because they had a pair of pants that fit all of them perfectly.

This captured the lives of most teenage girls today.
I recoment this book to girls everywhere.

Summary: My all time favorite Book
Review: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Is the best book ever! The plot grabs u to the point where you don't want to put it down. You get to feel that the girls are like a sister to you. It almost made me cry (what happens to Tibby). I don't want to ruin it for you if you havn't read it yet, and if you havn't, I reccomend you do.

Summary: Fun and touching read
Review: Ann Brashares is a wonderful writer and captures the current teen girl subculture really well. Any reader will come to care about the characters she creates and what happens to them. Even though I haven't been a teenager for a while, I think this book is a great one to read about the power of friendship.

Summary: An incredible novel
Review: Through laughter and tears, Ann Brashares leads you through a fabulous novel that descraibes to its readers the importance of trust, love, courage, family, and most importantly, friendship. When a pair of pants is found at a bargain store, it is unknown to the original buyer, that it will lead to a bond between 4 close friends during a summer apart.
Ever since birth, these beloved friends, close to sisters, have spent their summers together. Well, finally the day comes when they take planes to opposite sides of the world. Although they are seperated in distance, these magical pants hold them together through an invisible bond. The story of each of the girls experiences are told as the pants are sent from one part of the globe to the next.
I am sure this novel will prove to be a favorite of yours, as it did with me. I highly reccomend Ann Brashares work, not only because it was a fun read, but also because it shows you some of the most important lessons in life.

Summary: Wonderful book for Readers and all
Review: I have read this book many times, and although it is not truly thought-provoking or deep, it is nonetheless a great book for teen girls. The book tells the story of four teen girls who split apart for the summer, which is hard because they are best friends. The friends each go on their own adventures, but they find a pair of pants, which unites them throughout the summer. This book is perfect for summertime reading! I have read reviews that this book is "not appropiate" for girls ages 12 or 13. Well, I'm 13 (almost 14) and I have to say that I loved this book. I would suggest it to all middle and early high school girls! It is a great story of friendship, that is inspiring and true.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: This book is great! when I got it out from the library my mom said it sounded really weird by the title and I told her that my 13 year old aunt had read it and had thought the same thing and it turned out it was actually really good! I think any girl can relate to it. It was great cause it was funny, and sad at the same time. I think it's a great book for any girl 10 to 17. I can't wait to read the 2nd book, my 13 year old aunt has it out from the library right now!!

Summary: The BEST Summer Story
Review: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is an excellent book all about 4 friends, and despite their differant looks, styles, and backrounds, remain to stay faboulous friends. Lena, Bridget, Tibby, and Carmen first met when....well, their moms first met in a pregnancy aerobics class together. The girls dubbed themselves the Septembers, because they were all born around the same time. Sadly, they are all going their seprate ways their 15th (they turn 16 at the end) summer. Lena, the oldest, is the Greek beauty going to visit her Greek grandma + grandpa in Greece; Bridget, the athletic flirt, is off to soccer camp in Mexico; Carmen, the baby, is going to visit her dad; and Tibby, the rebel with the nose ring, is staying home and working her summer job. The book is written in sections for each girls' story, and their are letters included! This book is so funny and fun, you MUST read it ASAP!!!

Summary: A book deserving more than 5 stars!!!
Review: This book is definitley the best book that I've ever had the pleasure to read. Brashares created a whole other world into which these girls live and reading it makes you feel apart of it. They face realistic problems that real girls experience. I laughed, I cried, I got frustrated! I could relate very easily to some situations into which these girls experienced. Brashares wrote this very well, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a light and easy read, but one that will enlighten you as you read it.

Summary: Perfect Book
Review: This book really was perfect. It was funny and though the situations were like nothing that have ever happened in my life they are situations that are realistic and could happen. It's really nice that the four friends are totally different from each other and there really is someone that every reader could relate to or see parts of themselves in.

Summary: Not that great.
Review: I've heard so much about this book, and waited 2 months to get it from my library. I read it, getting more and more frustrated. The writing was plodding, the plot was tired and stereotypical of a teenage book, and the only cool thing about the entire book was Lena's section. Tibby's bit was entertaining, but eventually got bogged down. This book had such a unique idea. In all honesty, Tibby and Lena's sections were tolerable. The other two characters I ended up hating.
