Rating: Summary: A Great Book : ) Review: I read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants for a reading journal at school. The story is about 4 best friends who share a "magical" pair of pants during their first summer apart. Throughout the book, it alternates between each girl's story, whose plots are very easy to follow. This book is very entertaining, and hard to put down. In my opinion, this is a must read for any teenage girl. All of the girls experience something that most girls probably go through. This makes the whole story very easy to relate to. I enjoyed this book very much, and I can't wait to read the next one!
Rating: Summary: You Should Read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Review: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is a fantastic novel written by Ann Brashares. This book is about four very close girls who experience their first summer apart. Without each other their life seems to go haywire. There is a pair of pants that fit each girl all though they are all totally different sizes. They record all the experiences they have on these pants. I absolutely loved this book because I love Ann Brashares style of writing. Brashares writes form the point of view of each of the four girls. With an unexpected ending I recommend this book to girls ages 12-16 and feel sure that any who read it will love it. I am definitely going to read The Second Summer of Sisterhood, the sequel to the first book, and hope that the sequel will be as good as the first.
Rating: Summary: Slip on the Magic Pants Review: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pant's is a book that I think every teenage girl can relate to. The author, Ann Brashares, tells a story of four girls who witness a lifetime of boys, hate, sickness, and guilt all in one summer. This book not only has surprises, but shockers that will keep you interested throughout the book. Personally, I think this has been the best book I have ever read. Not only could I relate to the situations at hand, but sympathize with them as well. It makes you feel like you in one of those pretend clubs again with the rules and pen palling. If you're one of those people that can handle humor with a side dish of drama, this book if definitely for you!

Rating: Summary: The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants Review: The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants is about four girls, Lena, Briget, Tibby, and Carmen, who have been best friends since birth(literally). They are about fourteen and are about to start summer vacation when they find these really cool pants that fit all of them, even though they are different sizes. They decide that throughout the summer, they will each take turns wearing the pants and mail letters to tell everyone how their summer is going. Lena is going to Greece with her family to visit their grandparents. Her matchmaker grandmother, who always calls her 'beautiful Lena' has introduced her to a very handsome guy named Kostos. At first she doesn't like him at all, and accuses him of stalking her. But then at the end of the summer she realizes that she is falling in love with him. Briget, a very talented soccer player, is going to Baja California at a soccer camp. There she meet a really cute guy, and they are immediately attracted to each other. The only problem is, he's just a little too old. So Briget lies about her age, and the two become very, very, VERY close, if you get what I mean. But after, Briget confesses her true age and gets her heart broken. Tibby is staying at home this summer. While at her really boring job, she meets Bailey a young girl with luikemia, who gives her new view about life and judging others. They become very good friends. But Bailey's luikemia slowly gets worse and sadly, at the end of the summer, Bailey is gone forever. Carmen, is spending the summer with her dad, who she always has lots of fun with. But it turns out she won't have her dad to herself after all. Carmen's dad has recently been engaged, and now his fiancee and her two teenagers have moved in with him. Now Carmen must deal with the new changes in her family. During this important summer of all of their lives, Lena, Briget, Tibby, and Carmen must learn to love, accept and deal with the changes that are happening in their lives.
