Rating: Summary: Quotables Review: The Wave does not give a dynamic character description. This book describes a history teacher's experiment about dicipline,[...]. To begin, The Wave did not give a thorough description of the character's thoughts and behaviors. The author should state whether David, a student, liked the Wave or not. It seemed that David could never make up his mind. The author should also give more detail about David's behavior. For instance, David attacked Laurie, his girlfriend, then suddenly decided to be nice and agree with her. The author should tell why David liked the idea of the Wave then heard Laurie's opinion and agreed with her. This proves that the wave is not well written and does not provide a good character description.
Rating: Summary: Just Voice Review: (This review is written in the voice of the character.) My name is Laurie Saunders and I think you should read this interesting book. First of all, you should read this book because it anwsers the questions that you ask yourself. For example, we wanted to know why our creative S.S teacher started the wave and it clearly says that he wanted us to see how the Europeans could possible follow the Nazis evil plans. Secondly, you should 'The wave' because it is suspenseful. For instance, after every chapter you just had to read another. Lastly, you should read it because it is easy to follow. In example is when you get confused and you can just read a little bit over and been back on track. I think you should read this interesting book because it is a way to learn and be entertained at the same time.

Rating: Summary: Endings Review: I have to say over all it was a great book. but even more i liked the fact of how they ended the wave movement. To have something like that happen and you lead could become so intoxicating that it would really be hard to stop it. i just have to say i bet that he will not be doing that next year.
Rating: Summary: The Wave Review: The book "The Wave" was based on a true incident that took place in Palo Alto, California in 1969. Ben Ross's class studied how the German people could have followed Hitler and the Nazis. Mr. Ross creates an experiment that went a little too far! When the experiment began in a classroom it spreads really quickly to the whole school and through out the city. The classes motto was " Strength Through Dicipline, Strength Through Community, and Strength Through Action" that motto governed the entire school. But the thing is Laurie Saunder and Davis Collins (two of the main characters) recognize The Wave for what it really is. Can they stop it before it is too late? Read the book "The Wave" to see what happens. I personally did not think it was a great book, but you personally would have to make that decision and I would give this book a 3 out of 5 stars!

I personally did not like the book that much but it would have to be a personal decision by whoever reads it.-Cheyenne-
Rating: Summary: The Wave Review: This book is based on an actual incident in the USA. It powerfully demonstrates how people like Hitler can rise to power taking decent folk along with him. It should be compulsory reading for all high school students
Rating: Summary: The wave a great book Review: Todd Strasser is a great author. He has writing a few of my favorite books. The wave is my recent addition to my favorite list. The wave is a good book that is about a class teacher who conducts an experiment after the class had watched a movie about the Nazis. The wave taught me that just because someone is in a position of authority does not mean that I have to trust or believe in there actions. At times this book was slow but I would suggest it as a definite read
Rating: Summary: Great!!! Review: A super novel regarding group peer pressure and a look back at the harm that it caused. A must read!!!
