Summary: The Best Book I've Read
Review: The House On Mango Street is very interesting because it's not like any other books I have read. The writer speaks about her life. Anything that comes to her mind,she writes about it. The different styles used in writing the book makes everyone interested. Esperanza writes about her new home. It was not the one her parents wanted but it belonged to them. They did not have to pay rent. The house was small and red. Esperanza was very young.She loves her parents very much. She talks about her sister all the time. Esperanza's father said that people who went to public school always turned out bad. She got her first job at a photo studio. She liked her new job because it was not much work. When her grandfather died her dad was very upset. Esperanza thought that if her father died what would she do. She comforted her father. I loved the way Esperanza wrote poems. I admire Sandra Cisneros a whole lot.

Review: The house on mango street is an execptional book of literature that inspired me to judge a person differently.A poor girl who has moved from place to place trying to find a life of her own life.A person who talks about her life and how her life.she talks about her family and about her friends and about her way of life.The way that she uses literary elements such as personification,simile,methaphor and dramatic irony to show her way of life is astrophonmonminal.

Summary: IT IS A GREAT BOOK
Review: It is about a hispanic girl growing up in the latino section of Chicago. It is told in a vignettes. She has moved twice before Mango Street. She has a nickname, which is Esperanza. This is a good book. The problem is that it is confusing, and I did not undcerstand it but otherwise it is a good book. I would recommend it to people who like her work and understand vignettes.

Review: This review is from the book "The House on Mango Street" It is about a hispanic girl who lives is Chicago. It is told in series of vignettes. She has sisters and brothers. they lived in two different places before. It is a great book. Mango street is in the latino section of Chicago. The author {which is also the girl} has a nickname. Her nickname is Esperanza. I would recommend this book to people who can follow the confusion of this book. Otherwise it is a good book about the hard times that kids face and how hard it is in the realworld.

Review: This book was not as good as I had expected. Things I did like is it was cool how Sandra Cisneros wrote through the eyes of a child. It showed how more difficult it is for a child than for an adult to live in a dangerous neighborhood. I liked how the chapters were short. Some things I did not like is that it is confusing to know who is talking. There was not any quotation marks to tell if a person is talking or not. It was hard to understand because the story kept on jumping around. When I read it more carefully, I kind of understood the story. Each chapter had a different part of Esperanza's life but some of the chapters were just about people in the neighborhood, peoples hair and hips, and other boring things. The book was not as good from the beginning to the middle but the end was pretty interesting. I might recommend this book if you like this author or like reading vignettes.

Review: The House on Mango Street, by Sandra Cisneros, is about Esperanza's life living on Mango Street. In Esperanza Cordero's family, there's Mama, Papa,Carlos, Kiki, Neny, and Esperanza. Esperanza,the narrator, is a main character in The House on Mango Street. She gave the reader a good idea about what her life was like and described all the different types of people that lived on just one street. Esperanza was an interesting character because she didn't want to belong because it was a run-down neighborhood. She's ashamed of the house her family lives in and wants to leave Mango Street.
