Summary: A must read for any girl (or boy) who likes historical fic.
Review: I first read this book when I was around 8 or 9 years of age. I loved it. Today it is still one of my favourites. (It sits on my favourites bookshelf) L.M. Montgomery is one of the best children/young adult authors. This book caused me to buy and read all her other books which I could find. I believe this book to be good for anyone who enjoys fun.

Summary: Definite must read!
Review: First read the series at 12. Am now 33, and the series is still as fresh and as entertaining as the first time. Anne's one spunky lady.

Summary: The Anne books are a wonderfully written books.
Review: The Anne of Green Gables series is a inspiring tale of a young girl growing up. She's goes through good and bad, sadness and great happiness. She finds true love and is torn away from it. She has six children and in Rainbow Valley we get a closer look in thier lives. I would recommend this book to anyone. My personal favorite though was Anne of Green Gables.

Summary: Anne of Green Gables are great books for any age.
Review: I love the Anne of Green Gables collection. I read them all, when I was a teenager. I still love reading them, now in my mid 20's. Ann(with an e) captures your heart with her spunk and courage. I even bought the movies they made and wish they would make more. I liked watching Anne grow from a young red haired girl to a facinating woman who has love, wisdom, family, and still alot of spunk.

Summary: The Best series of books I have ever read
Review: Read the whole series years ago (still have them) Got the first one Anne of Green Gables just to get something to read but could not stop until I read the whole series. The way montgomery wrote the story you will be sad, happy, cry, along wih Anne. The characters seem so real, they almost jump out of the book at you. It would be too difficult to say for sure which one I liked the Best. But anne of Avonleigh and Rainbow Valley are in contention. Have read all of Montgomerys Books and would recomend any of them as they are all great.

Summary: Every girl(or woman) should read
Review: What a wonderful way to spend a cold and dreary day. Anne will touch the heart of a mother and inspire the soul of a girl.

Summary: I Love Anne!!!!
Review: I think that these books are the greatest. My favorite is "Anne of the Island". I really enjoy reading about Anne's adventures and every time I read it she becomes more and more real to me. I feel as if I am there and part of her world. I will definately keep these books for my kids and grankids.

Summary: Luminous!!!
Review: I have read all the books about Anne in Polish, but I am positive that their charm transcends languages. They were my favorite childhood books and are still among the books to which I come back on rainy days (and I'm 22). They all are absolutely wonderful. The characters portrayed in the have become a part of my vernacular, I love them as I would love close friends and I worry about them as I read the books (even knowing the outcome, of course). I am also in the habit of re-reading my favorite chapters from the books about Anne. Read them, they will completely enchant you! (If you have already read the Anne series, try The Blue Castle, it is absolutely wonderful!)

Summary: I really enjoyed reading Anne of Green Gables.
Review: If anyone loves to read stories such as Little House on the Prairie, then you will love Anne of Green Gables. The story itself in essence, is quite nicely put together. It is,like most stories about people, a story about life and how to face it. As Anne herself begins to like people, and you like them for the same reasons. Or on the opposite, hate them as she does. It is a good book to look to if you need some cheering up. I myself can remember having read a few pages to keep me company. Her "scrapes" are altogether much to funny, and her vanities just as much. I happen to share her love for romantic things; especially trees. You will find her hopes great, her feelings truly felt, and her problems worth fixing. You shall also find the other characters just as fun loving, and just as caring as most friends are. you come to understand that just because Anne is an orphan, doesn't mean she doesn't have plenty of family willing to take of her and to bring her up to the world's standards. There are many lessons to learn from this book and I am sure you will find it quite enjoyable. Once you are done this one, you will definetly want to read the others in the set.
