Summary: Review
Review: A great way to review for the APs. It is summarized in ways that are extremely easy to understand. Plenty of maps and cartoons. Explains the actual AP test and has great sample tests (multiple choice, DBQ, & FRQ), plus all the answers and bullet-style options for the essays. I strongly recommend this book!!!!

Summary: Follow along!
Review: I followed this book along with class lessons to review, and found that this method works very well. Nearing the time of the test, all you have to do is take the practice tests and a bit of review in class and out of class, and you're guaranteed a very high score on this test. Class is very important, so if your teacher isn't up to par, I'd suggest writing essays be your focus. The difference between all the people who receive 3's and those who receive 4's and 5's is all based on those 3 essays!

Summary: Content is okay, but watch out for errors!
Review: I had ok history teachers...but are we seriously supposed to remember everything? Well I crammed this book in the few days before the test. The review of History they have is brief enough for you to skim yet thorough enough to start the DBQ or essay with. Questions on the AP Exam were like they were straight out of this book's text. Definitely buy this book and read it over a few times and your guaranteed a five.

Summary: Content is okay, but watch out for errors!
Review: The general content of the book is good for a general review, but make sure you watch for errors in the practice tests. Many of the answers listed in the answer keys are incorrect. Double check with another source or your history teacher if you aren't sure about a particular question; if you think you're correct and the book says otherwise, you're probably the one that's correct!
