Rating: Summary: In the Blinking of a Eye peoples lives change Forever... Review: The book,"Tears of a Tiger", by Sharon Mills Draper is a book I personally enjoyed and probably never forget. It teaches you that anything can happen to anyone and that life is a precious and once in a lifetime experience and to enjoy it while you can and be friendly and nice to everyone because you don't know if you will see them tomorrow. Somethings I liked about the book was it had newspaper articles, character's homework, diaries and letters. The author didn't just write it out the way books are usually printed. It's sort of like a diary. Also I liked it because she used words teens use. Monty (Andy's little brother) is my favorite character because when Andy is depressed and not himself Monty seems to give him a bit of hope.I liked it when the class was having a lesson on Macbeth who had killed his best friend, women and children, and the King. Also I liked the part when Keisha Montgomery wrote an essay on the importance of friedship and how its wonderful to have friends. What happened in the book could happen to anyone and also is funny, sad, and sus- pensful. I would highly recommend this to teens mainly in their late teens through early 20's.
Rating: Summary: Wounded Tiger Review: I really enjoyed reading this novel. It was well composed and it has a message to the youth of America: sometimes we get so high in our accomplishments that we get careless and suddenly loose our will to go on. This book illustrates this. Andy and his 3 friends drink after a successful basketball game, get into an accident and Robert Washington looses his life. The character who I liked was Keisha because she stuck with Andy; someone who we need in our everyday lives. My favorite part was when all his friends wrote him letters expressing their thoughts and feelings about his last deed. This book may be depressing, but it is powerful in its message. I recommend this book to mature people from fourteen and up.

Rating: Summary: Ken's Tears of a Tiger Review Review: Tears of a Tiger, by Sharon Draper, is an excellent book. I loved the way it was written; the articles, phone calls, letters, and conversations were much better than a regular novel. I would love to read some of Sharon Draper's other novels. There were many exciting parts in this book, but a lot of them I don't want to give away. At the beginning Andrew "Andy" Jackson was in a car crash with three of his friends: Robbie Washington, B.J., and Tyrese. Robbie didn't make it, and that's what the story is about- What happens to Andy after Robbie's death. Altogether this book was really good. I enjoyed it a lot, and I would recommend it to just about anyone.

Rating: Summary: TEARS OF A TIGER Review: TEARS of a TIGER is a sad book about a boy named Andy and how he goes through the death of a friend. The book is really sad and informative. The best part about the book is its conversational form. The beginning it's just a regular night at the game. After the game, the boys decide to go out for a couple beers Gerald didn't go because he thought he would get in trouble with his dad. Andy was driving when they ended up on the highway and crashed into a wall. Andy rolled out of the car and the rest of the guys managed to get out except for Robby, the boy in the passenger seat. He had his feet propped up on the dash and got his feet jammed in the window, making it impossible to get out. THIS BOOK IS A RELAY GOOD AND SAD BOOK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ALL TEENS
Rating: Summary: Tears of a Tiger Review: I liked this book because the book relates to me. I really don't mean to be in but I thinks it is Keshia's fault that Andy ended up killing himself. If she had of stayed by his side just a little bit more he would still be living. He just really needed someone to talk to that day. Now to face the cruel world along without him is his little brother Monty.Who was only six years of age when Andy killed himself. The HazelWood Tigers will miss Andy Jackson. This book taught me that Life is Better then Death!
