Rating: Summary: tears of a tiger Review: The book Tears of a Tiger is about the degeneration of a 17-year-old boy after he watches his best friend burn to death in a fatal car wreck. After a basketball game Andy Jackson, and a few of his good buddies, get behind the wheel drunk. After crashing into a retaining wall, the car bursts into flame, and Andy has to watch his best friend burn to death. After this, Andy falls into deep despair. For example, Andy describes his depression by saying, "My mind is cloudy , my heart is bloody, my soul is on ice. Nobody is home. Nobody cares. I wish I could go to sleep forever." This book helped me to see how depression can chanse your life. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who needs a powerful lesson on why not to drink and drive.
Rating: Summary: Tears of a Tiger Review: Tears of a Tiger is a realistic book about teenage depression. This book confirms that drinking and driving can be fatal. It also shows that death is a real thing, and no matter how young you are it can happen to you. One thing that I really liked about this book is how creative the author was in her writing. She used language that teens are used to. It wasn't written like a normal book, because it had newspaper articles, letters, conversations, and even police reports. I think that's what makes it so interesting. I have to say this is one of the best books I've ever read. It doesn't candy-coat the truth, but it slaps it right in your face. It leaves you on the edge of your seat. You don't want to put it down because you can't wait to see what happens next. Because of the modern, slang language, I would recomend this book to all teens.

Rating: Summary: Words by Rafael Review: The book Tears of Tiger is about a boy named Andy, who's just been in a car accident. He killed his best friend named Robert Washington. Now he knows what is feels like to be alone. My favorite character is Andy Jackson, one of the great basketball players, because nobody could understand his pain, and the fact that he killed his best friend Robert Washington. For example, everyday, though Andy was hurting, he hid it from his parents, friends, family, teachers, and the psychologist. I think it was a lot for a teen to experience a fatal car crash. I liked this book because of the slang language. It tells no matter what age you are death is going to come even to teens. I liked it also because of the basketball games, because I play basketball for the school myself, and the newspaper articles. I would recommend this book to people who likes slang language and to people who liks to play basketball.

Rating: Summary: Tears of a Tiger Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy named Andy that is convicted of a vehicular homicide. He blames himself for this because of the fatal accident that killed his best friend, Rob. Unfortunately, he is unable to cope with this incident. Andy experienced what to us might be our worse nightmare, the devasting truth, our world's reality, or just scary and horrifying. Andy and his friends were unable to rescue their friend, Rob from the accident. "We were all screaming because we could see Rob's feet sticking through the windsheild." "We couldn't get him out!" The last thing I heard Rob say was,"Andy! Andy! Help me-Help me- Oh God, please don't let me die like this! Andy!" I really loved this book and I recommend it to tennagers everywhere. The reason why I recommend it to them is because Tears of the Tiger reaches out to your heart and takes hold of it in many ways! It is a very powerful and traumatic book, and they would love it alot.
Rating: Summary: tears of a tiger Review: Tears of a tiger is about a boy named Andy who was in a fatal automobile accident in which his best friend,Rob, was killed. His life took a traumatic turn for the worst. My favorite character is Monty because he was the only optimistic person in the whole entire book he was going on. I really did enjoy this book because it was devastating and so it seemed realistic. I would recommed this book to anyone that is mysterious. If I had to put this book on a scale from 1-10,I would give it a 10.
Rating: Summary: tears of a tiger Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy named Andy.He was the driver in an automobile accident that killed his best friend .Throughout this book it is sad, funny, and horrifying as you read on to the end. This book is a fiction book. It is for people who like reading good books and like fiction books.I like the part where Monty Andy's little brother asked him if he wanted to sleep with one of his teenage mutant warrior space solders so he wouldn't have bad dreams. I think people from grades 7 and up should read this book because of the lessons it would teach you: don't drink and drive and don't consider suicide as a way out of your problems.
