Summary: Tears of a tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy named Andy. How he has a hard time dealing with the death of his friend Rob. He is a stubborn person and does not like to listen to people. The character I did not like in this book was Andy. He was like a little girl. He was alway crying, and moping around. I know death is a hard thing to get over, but it was like he went crazy. I really didn't enjoy this book. It seemed like he didn't have nothing to do with his life, but sitting around moping all the time. It seemed like he was sad and was suffering inside. Oh, and they could of left out some of the poem's. to me all around it's a boring book.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy named Andy who is going through real hard times with his friends and his life. Andy was involved in a car wreck, which killed his best friend. I really liked the way the book was written, for example, in one chapter it was written as a newspaper article, and letters to Andy, other friends, and homework papers. The book also shows all the rough times in Andy's life, and all the tramatic things, too. Tears of a Tiger is a very great book for junior high/ high school students, because this is what some teenagers go through.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger is a really good book.
Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy named Andy Jackson who had a car crash and killed his best friend, Robbie Washington. I liked this book because it was realistic. For instance, when Robbie got killed, everyone didn't freak out. It took some time for everything to sink in. Also Tears of a Tiger was easy to understand. It was wrote as newspapepoetry, letters, conversations, ect.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading books about things that could really happen. It could helpme understand alot of things. For instance, not everyone blames you, even when you think they do.

My favorite character was Andy's girlfriend,Keisha. she helped him through all of the hard times. Also she was always willing to listen.

Summary: Teacher's dream book
Review: As a jr. high English teacher, I have to say that this one of the best young adult novels on the market. I often find it difficult to choose books that the majority of my students can/will read. I would estimate that 98 percent of my eighth graders read the entire book and enjoyed it. If you teach jr. high, or have a jr. high age child, then you can appreciate how amazing this is!

My students posted their own book reviews on this site, so you can see for yourself how much they enjoyed reading it. This has truly been one of my best teaching experiences.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is a sad book. It is about Andy Jackson, a teenager, who gets in a car wreck with his friends while they were drunk. Robbie Washington, Andy's best friend and star of the basketball team, dies in the wreck. Andy feels responsible for his death and gets depressed. He has to learn to live life while getting over Robbie's death. Andy was my favorite character because he had to put up with his tough life and friend's death. He had nobody to turn to, and he felt all alone. I liked this book because of the realness and sadness. It showed me what could happen if you drink and drive. The thing I did not like was the different types of writing. It was tough to read sometimes. Three things I learned from the book are that looks can be deceiving, always think of others, and drinking may not kill you physically, but it can kill you mentally. I recommend this book to people who like sad books.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy named Andy who kills his best friend in a fatal car accident. Andy started going to therapy. He also sought help from his girlfriend Keshia, his fiends, and family.

I liked the book because it was unpredictable. For example, one minute Andy would be crying and the next he would be cutting up and acting a fool.

I recommend this book because I never knew what was going to happen next.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is a book about death and depression.Andy was the most interesting character to me because he went through so much. You could really get inside his head.I learned three things from this book: things may come or happen to you in life you may need help with, friends are special, and never drink while driving. I enjoyed reading this book because it was very descriptive.I would like to read more books by this auther, especially Forged by Fire.

Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a boy,Andy, who is in a fatal car crash that kills his best friend,Rob. This book was very vivid and emotional. Everything seems so real even though it is a fiction book. I thought this book was very good because it told how Andy suffered by the choices he made. I suggest this book to people who have considered drinking and driving.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is about four boys: Andy, Rob, Tyrone, and B.J. who go out drinking one night after they had won a big basketball game, and Andy, the driver, has a wreck which kills his best friend, Rob. After the wreck Andy has a hard time coping with the situation and blames everything on himself.

Even though this book is depressing because of all the horrible things that happen to Andy, I still like the book. The author described it well so you could get a good picture of it in your head. She gave different personalities to each person and showed them through the notes, poems, homework assignments and the other things they wrote.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has a good imagination and who would like to learn valuable lessons.

Summary: Tears of a Tiger
Review: Tears of a Tiger is about a teenager who accidentally killed his best friend, Rob, in a car crash because he was drinking and driving. Andy soon learns that what happened that night will affect him for the rest of his life.

My favorite character was Andy, who learned about the effects of drunk driving. This book tells a very touching story about what he went through after Rob died. It was very depressing, but I also thought it was realistic.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has ever thought about drinking and driving or to anyone who would like to read a really realistic book.
