Summary: The Giver Review
Review: I think the book The Giver by Lois Lowry was a great book to read! I think it was a great book because it kept me reading the book and wanting to know what else was going to happen in the book next. I would rate this book a four and a half star book. If somone asked me if i would recomend this book to them i would because i think anyone would like this book if they are a good reader or if they arnt. The book is about a young boy named Jonas that lives in a community protected by the rest of the world. When Jonas turns 12 years old he is awarded the job of being that leader of the community. His training of learning all of the information he needs to know is a painful experence for him but after it is all done he feels really good. I dont want to say anything else and spoil the book for others that are going to read it.

Summary: The Giver Review
Review: I think the book The Giver is a really good book because it made me think about the feelings they felt. I thought it was sad when Jonas' sister wasnt treated right on the playground. I think that it is weird how Jonas lives in a perfect world that doesn't have any wars, sickness, or hunger.Overall I think it was a good book but it had a very bad ending. It ended with Jonas ran away! I think that if a book ends like The Giver ended then there should be a sequel to the book The Giver. (7.3AR)

Review: I think the book was ok, it was good through the whole book untill it got to the end. the last chapter was dumb, I didnt like how it ended but my favorit chapter was chapter 19. I liked how he talked about the release and how Jonas got to watch it, and see how powerful. when I started reading it I thought it was a really good book then it started geting to the end and I didnt like it as much.

Summary: The Giver Reveieu
Review: I think the book, "The Giver", is an interesting, but slow book. It is interesting because it uses odd ideas, but the ideas are not hard to understand. In The Giver, people could not see colour, be in love or sad. If someone were sad, they would want something, and if someone wanted something, that person would want to steal, and if someone steals, people would hate each other and if people hated each other war would break out. If there was colour, people might prefer a certain colour. If people preferred a certain colour, they would want that colour, so colour is removed from the community The Giver is told in.
Some people may censer this book because of nudity and people killing themselves, but the events in this book are very important to the plot. In the book, if someone does something wrong, they are released. Release is death, but no one in the community knows what death is. All people in The Giver are happy and feel they are in paradise, but no one knows anything better then their life.
If I had to rate The Giver, I would give it a three and a half stars. The reason i would give this book three and a half stars is because I found the book a bit slow. The book was a bit slow because nothing happened till about half way into the book.

Summary: "The Giver" Reveiw
Review: I think the Giver by Louis Lowery is an excellent book for school, and I would recommend it for anyone who would want a good book to read. The book starts of slow, and basically describes the community that Jonas lives in. Then, later in the book, Jonas is selected to become the next receiver after the last year's failure. The book then goes on a magnificent journey to free the community of it's "sameness" that was there for so long.

Review: I think the giver is a great book for any person over the age of 11.It is most interesting for the 6th and 7th grade.It involves confusing literature,tough vocabulary and a perfect world. This is about a boy named Jonas who is getting a little disgusted with the way these people live.So you should read this book and see if you have the same idea as they do for a perfect world.I think your ideas will differ from theirs!

Review: I think the giver is a great book, because it has adventure and romance. It has just a little bit of mystery. I recommend it for every one 10 years old and older, because it has some difficult words. Itâ''s about a place without out feelings and there isnâ''t any color every thing is gray. And there is one person who is chose every year. That year some thing very unusual happens this year. Will have to read it to find out.

Summary: The Giver from Lois Lowry
Review: I think The Giver is a very interesting novel. It shows what advantages and disadvantages such a Community Of Sameness has. Initially you wouldn't think that it is very interesting to read because the whole community is explained and the new words for this novel are menaged, but it gets more and more exciting if you read further. You will feel with Jonas, when he realized how boring the community he lives in is and when he leaves the community. The book has an open ending so it isn't clear what happens at the end.

Summary: Unforgetable
Review: I think the Giver is an interesting book that was well described by Lois Lowry. The characters were my favorite part, due to the well description. Lois brought up many different issues in the book, such as a world with no religion, abortion, and sameness. His world has no color, and that makes you thankful for what you have. I disliked the ending, I did not like how it made me pick my own ending. I like endings told to me, where you actually know the ending and there is no confusion on what the story is suppose to mean. Overall, it is a good novel. I would reccomend this to many people.
