Summary: This was an astoundingly poignant and thought -provoking boo
Review: This was an astoundingly poignant and though-provoking book which forced me to reconsider my whole exsistance and what it meant. It made me notice every emotion and feel everything more.

Summary: Awesome book
Review: This was an awesome book because it is so interestng from the beginning. It was a real page turner and it told of a perfect community. This book is so good, it almost seems true. You really get to know the characters and start to like them. It is really easy to get into, and you will not want to put it down. Well, in conclusion, it was one of the best books I have ever read and I highly recommend it.

Summary: The Giver
Review: This was an excellent book until about chapter 20, whenyoubasically don't get or care about the characters anymore. At theend, I was very dissapointed, at the lack of information. I wanted to know what happened to Giver, and Jonas, and Gabe. And, what happened to the community after he left? This book is very open ended, but otherwise a superb peice of writing.

Summary: Please! Read this book.
Review: This was an excellent book. In the beginning, it seemed as though Jonas lived in a perfect world and yet there was a feeling that something about it was wrong. This book made me realize that while being the same as everyone else can cut down on prejudice and disagreements, one can't have any spirit of individuality. This book is a must read!

Summary: A Good book
Review: This was an good book. In the begining you think I don't want to finish this but once you do you think, wow this was great. I wonder what will happen to Jonas and Gabrial next!

Summary: Ending? Did it end?
Review: This was one of the best books I had ever read, until the ending. In fact, if there hadn't been anymore pages left in the book, I wouldn't have know it had ended. I loved it up until that point. The in depth detail and description of the memory transfers made me feel like I was there, receiving them. The whole subplot with Gabe was really fun to. I makes you stop and think about how wonderful it is to be able to make our own choices. All in all, a very good book.

Summary: FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!
Review: This was one of the best books I've ever read.It was so...I don't know how to describe it, but Jonas's world was so organized and orderly. It's fun reading about something so apart from our world. I felt sad the people couldn't feel emotion because it feels kind of wrong but I'm glad Jonas got to feel emotions like love. And the part where I learned About "release" made me so angry that they were doing that to innocent people and I felt wonderful when Jonas and Gabriel found Elsewhere. The book was so touching and that's why I gave it Five Stars.

Summary: The Giver
Review: This was one of the best books I've read! It's like a strange dream you can't get out of. It would be a great book for grades 6-7. Once you pick up "The Giver", you wont want to put it down. In some ironic way, it can very easily relate to society today. I would reccomend "The Giver" to anyone.

Summary: So Sad!
Review: This was one of the first books I got that I really disliked. My mom got it for me when I was about 11 or 12 and I got all the way to the "baby part" (which I'm sure you all have heard about...uck!) I had to put it down because I was crying to hard. I decided to finish it because I really liked the main character and still wanted to know the ending but to this day I still don't know how it ended because that one chapter was haunting me and I could get it out of my head. Anytime me and my friends talk about books in general I always say how I couldn't stand this one.

Summary: worst book i have ever read
Review: this was such a boring book! I had to read it for school, and i kept falling asleep! it is confusing and has a very wierd plot. An old man passing on memories by touching someone? give me a break! dont read this book!
