Summary: Just plain WONDERFUL
Review: I have always read self help books, and stories about the "unknown". When I came across this book, and read the back, I realized this book was about "me". I couldn't put it down. When I finished it, I was sad to know it was over, but quickly decided I would look the author up, and read another. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to "escape" the reality, but realize that "life" like Eve's happens to everyone. Its happening to me now..

Thanks so much for your great work Ariella...

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: I have loved all of the books Red Dress Ink has published and I agree with another reviewer that this is the best one I have read. It was extremely funny (I, too, laughed out loud at several parts) and very true to life. It takes a lot for me to be reading a book I simply cannot put down, and this was one of them. It's also nice to read a book by a fresh, funny young female author who really knows how it feels to be looking for something to do that makes you happy. I am eagerly awaiting the next novel from Ariella Papa!

Summary: Best RDI book
Review: I loved the story line, loved the characters, and LOVED Ariella Papa's writing style. Out of all the RDI books, this is the one I could most relate to, with Eve living at home at the beginning of the story. This is one of my favorite books. I won't give it 5 stars because the ending was a bit far-fetched, but nevertheless entertaining, and good escapism.

Summary: Fun and lighthearted reading
Review: I loved this book it was an easy read! You could totally relate to the characters and situations. It lets you leave reality for a little while and hope that every thing works out for the girls in the story. I highly recomment On The Verge!

Summary: Dull, Dull, Dull
Review: I normally would never read a book like this, but I was considering submitting to the press. The characters are shallow, uninteresting, & materialistic. The novel goes nowhere & frankly I couldn't care less what happened to the lead character. This story is WAY TOO LONG. 300 pages could easily be trimmed into a 60 page novella & that's being generous. This is poorly edited & poorly written, but not the worst novel I've ever read. Grade: 1 star.

Summary: A Fun Summer Read
Review: I really enjoyed On The Verge. It was a great book to put into words what a young woman is feeling, just out of college and attempting to live on her own. Eve, her friends, and her family really bring to life what it seems like to be on your own, for the first time and still trying to break free from the grasp of your parents. I recommend this book for girls in college and out, a great book to pick up during the summer

Summary: awsome
Review: i thought this book was hysterical. I am 23 and live in new york city, and could completly relate to Eve and her friends. I was laughing out loud many times and hated to put it down. I cant wait for Ariella Papa's next book!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: If you are in your 20's read it, you will laugh!
Review: I was able to identify and know every single person in this book. It actually had me laughing out loud at times. So loud that my boyfriend would just look at me and then mumble, "Oh the book again."

I have been in the exact same spots as Eve and felt some of the same feelings.

This is great if you are post-college and starting in the job world. You will know exactly where Eve is coming from.

Bravo!

Summary: Realistic approach to women's experiences
Review: It is a refreshing approach to women's experiences. We all identify ourselves with the book at one point or another. It is basically impossible to think that a woman finishes reading this book and not once thought "that was me". Absolutely impossible. Easy to read and comprehend. Funny and dramatic. Excellent for a young woman to learn the do's and don't's in life and for an older woman to remember how she became an older woman.

Summary: lighthearted coming of age tale
Review: Just having graduated from college, Eve Vitali has landed a permA-temp job as an assistant to the editor of Bicycle Boy magazine. Her closest friend Tabitha also works in the same building as an assistant to the editor of NY BY Night. Eve lives with her parents in her old room in New Jersey, partying over the weekends at places where the rich and famous go to make a statement.

Her college roommate persuades Eve to leave the nest and move into the city. The pair is once again roommates even though Tabitha feels like an extra wheel and isn't happy with the arrangements. Looking for guys and a place to find them is the extent of the trio's social life. On the business front, Eve, a journalism major, sees no future for her at the company and realizes that if something is to change, she will have to do something drastic.

ON THE VERGE is a lighthearted coming of age tale in the Big Apple. The protagonist shows growth throughout the story line making decisions that will eventually lead to her taking a huge corner risk. Readers will hope she succeeds because she's perky and bright displaying the potential to go far in her chosen field if she can get her act together. Ariella Papa has written a work that will appeal to the under thirty crowd.
