Summary: A truly blessed work ...
Review: ...FREE YOUR MIND. Share the beautiful, loving possibilites of God. Share your ideas. Share this book.

Thank you Neale Donald Walsch for having the courage to share your valid, wonderful version of God. I prefer this God to the horrible, judgemental God of Dobson & the "Christian Right".

I am getting my Master's degree in High School Guidance Counseling, and will be sure to share this book as often as needed.

Summary: GREAT BOOK
Review: I just want to share what i think, first i think this is an amazing non religous book, the author is not having a conversation with GOD (the one the you all believe in)this is the god that we all have inside the one that we all want to believe in the one that could really change the world! this book says taht god is life itself and we all are life itself , so we are all god pieces of god , life is god.. we have created the world ( you should read some antropologist book as well) nothing exist without the meaning that we gave to anything without that meaning theres nothing.
well i think everybody in the world should read a conversations with god book , specially teens , that way the world would be a lot more different.
excelente introduccion by Alanis Morissette...the final part of the foreword it is just what we all would like to hear.

really great book!
why it is so hard to catholics and christians to accept? anything different? wel.. this book does nothing but accept .

Summary: Another dangerous book ...
Review: Before you buy this book, read the sample pages provided by Amazon and you will get at least a small hint that this is a dangerous book. The real danger, however, lies in the pages that Amazon chose not to show us. Very bad stuff here from this secular humanist author! If, on the other hand, you believe that nothing is wrong, that "anything goes" and "if it feels good, do it," perhaps this is a book you will want your teen to read. In my opinion, kids deserve better than this relativistic tripe.

Summary: Not for true Christians
Review: I must first start out in saying that in no way am I a Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell type of Christian. I'm extremely liberal, in fact. I bought this book because I thought it'd shed some light on some of my own beliefs, plus I love Alanis Morissette.
First of all, I don't care who you are, do not presume that you can convey the voice of God to me. Do not type on a page His words, unless you have a Bible verse to back it up.
Secondly, the author totally disregards the Bible in this book...Sex? You want to have sex? Go right ahead, do what you want! Is that really the message you want to give your teenage kids? I'm only 17 myself, but goodness...as if there isn't enough pressure in the world already..
There are far better books out there on God than this one, and no, they aren't always extremely judgemental and hypocritical.

Summary: teaching immoraliy
Review: The author writes, "There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone." If that is the moral stance you want your teenager to take, this is the book for you. Think about it for a while. What would the world be like if we all decided to live as though there is no right and wrong?

Summary: Truth
Review: This is a great book for teens. I have two teen boys and I am happy that they have this book. It's very no-nonsense and approachable, all about love and acceptance - things that are important and kids want to talk about. It makes the reader think, and shows how we can have to take responsibility for our own lives and our own decisions.

Summary: Finally! A CWG book geared toward Teens!
Review: WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Finally the TRUTH!!!!!!

First off, I have books 1,2,and 3 of the Conversations With God series, along with "Friendship with God" and some others written by Walsch. I also have these on audio tape. John Edward and Sylvia Browne, and Edgar Cayce are also in my library.

For YEARS I have searched for answers to faith and spirituality issues. 99% of what is in Neales' books perfectly parallels (spelling?) what my heart tells me should be so. I have three kids. 13, 16 and 17 and I'll be buying the audio books for them.

I have NEVER accepted the existance of the God who is referred to in every church service i've ever attended. The Bible says "thou shall have no false Gods" right? Such a statement indicates jealousy, which is a human trait. God is not jealous, God is loving. The God of the 10 commandments who supposedly commanded this (God said his/her longhand is terrible) "no false Gods thing" is in fact (IMO) a "false God" himself. A human came up with the 10 commandments. God didn't set them. God doesn't set rules.

I'm blown away by how some people view these books and tapes as "evil" or something similar. I'd be more than happy to diplomatically/professionally discuss my views regarding these books (via Email) with anyone who wishes to accept the invitation. My name is Doug Bergerson and my Email address is dmbergerson@mchsi.com

As my 17 year old daughter asked her catacism teacher; "If God is all loving, why does he send people to suffer in hell forever?"

The teacher didn't have an answer.

We are ALL going to to heaven when all is said and done. Those of you who believe differently are going to be REALLY surprised when you die and go "home" again.

Incidently, my brother (an Assembly of God minister) is praying for me. So are lots of other religious leaders. Although I appreciate the gesture, God and I are doing just fine thanks.

I look forward to any replies wishing to discuss this further

Bless you

Respectfully,
Doug Bergerson

Summary: A review from James Dobson, Ph.D.
Review: Educators, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles,
please pay special attention not only to the what
your kids watch on TV and in movie theaters and the
music they listen to ... but we must also be alert regarding the books they read.

Two particular books, Conversations with God and
Conversations with God for Teens, written by Neale
Donald Walsch sound harmless enough by their titles
alone. These books have been on the New York Times
best seller
list for a number of weeks. These publications makes
truth of the statement "Don't judge a book by its cover/title".
The author purports to answer various questions from
kids using the "voice of God." However, the "answers"
that he gives are not biblically-based a and in fact go against the very infallible Word of God.

For instance (and I paraphrase), when a girl asks
the question "why am I a lesbian?" his answer is
that she was born that way because of genetics just
as you were born right-handed, with blue eyes, etc.
Then he tells her to go out and "celebrate" her
differences. Another girl poses the question "I am
living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I
should marry him because I am living in sin. Should
I marry him?" His reply is "Who are you sinning
against? Not me, because you have done nothing
wrong.

Another question asks about God's forgiveness of
sin. His reply - "I do not forgive anyone because
there is nothing to forgive.
There is no such thing as right or wrong and that is
what I have been trying to tell everyone. I do not
judge people. People have chosen to judge one
another and this is wrong because the rule is 'Judge
not lest ye be judged'." And the list goes on. Not
only are these books the false doctrine of devils
but in some instances even quote (in error) the Word
of God. These books (and others like it) are being
sold to school children (The Scholastic Book Club)
and we need to be aware of what is being fed to our

children. Our children are under attack so I pray
that you be sober and vigilant about teaching your
kids the true Word of God and guarding their
exposure to worldly media because our adversary, the
devil, "roams about as a roaring lion seeking whom
he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). And how many of us
know that lions usually hunt for the slowest,
weakest and YOUNGEST of its prey.
Pass this on to every believer you know.
God bless.

James Dobson, Ph.D.

Summary: Pay no attention to the negative reviews for this book!
Review: The reason this book's rating is so low overall is because several people who are certain they already know "THE Truth" are afraid of books that suggest differently. This is not a book about the God of Christianity, true. I daresay no one expected it to be. This is a highly valuable supplement to the basic "Conversations With God" trilogy and its sequels. Touching in its simple frankness and moving in its deep wisdom, *CWG for Teens* is a book not only for teens, but for all those who have read the base series and would like to see the messages put in a slightly different way or given a slightly new angle, that readers may better grasp the concepts. Admit it, we all need things put in "second-grade terms" once in a while. An excellent volume, no matter what the fundamentalists say.

Summary: Parents...If buying this for a child....beware
Review: Overall, this book is an abomination upon children. I would give it 0 stars but one is the lowest it can go.
