Review: I liked this book by R.L. Stine, but in the end he kind of turned into a Christopher Pike! R.L. Stine usually writes horror books that can really happen and it has a reasonable solution. Christpoher Pike always has some type of far out and corny ending in his horror stories. I like both authors but I think that they should write books their way and not combine the others skill of writing. The book is freaky but too sci-fi in the end!

Summary: You really don't know what happens.
Review: I read the book The Beach Party. The book is about five main characters, two of the characters love each other but they really do not know it. Their two names were Karen and Jerry. The other two characters were Ann-Marie and Renee who is Jerry' s girlfriend. It was a very interesting book with the mystery of what happens to Karen and Jerry and the other characters in the book. When Renee finds out about how Karen and Jerry like each other and what she might do to not have them see each other at all. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read about things that you think that might happen, but then something really different happens in the next chapter. I loved the book it was like that when I thought I knew what was going to happen, then the book just led to something that just shocked me.

Review: I think the book Beach Party was awesome. It was about a girl Karen who had just broken up with her boyfriend and then she moved off to Venice with a friend for a vacation. She was looking for a good time till she got caught up with two different guys. One being all dangerous and one being a sweet and thoughtful person. Karen has been through it all. She didn't know who to choose. As time went by Karen was trying to find herself to be attrcted to only one, but the one she was most attracted to was Jerry. He was a good looking guy and she loved everything about him. Later to find out that Jerry had a girlfriend named Renee who has been through it all. She knew exactly what Jerry was going through, especially after the death of his brother Todd. Jerry's siter knew what was going on. Jerry was sick. He needed professional help to get him off thinking about what has happened to his brother Todd. Jerry thought it was his fault his brother died, but it wasn't. He just felt guilty because he was the only one that could have saved him. A while after Jerry and Karen had been seeing each other, Karen has been getting weird phone calls and letters saying to stay away from Jerry because he was dangerous. Ignoring those warnings, Karen had to experience a thrill of her lifetime. She found herself involved with a guy that was completely insane. After all they have gone through, Jerry tried to drown her, but not knowing. He felt as if something over came him, but it's been happening since his brothers death. Jerry's sister then decided that things had gotten to far out of hand and took Jerry in for profesional help. This book is really and thriller. Once you read it you wouldn't wanna put it down.

Review: I thought that it sucked. I mean come on, R.L. you can do much better. I knew who the killer was right when I knew who all of the characters were and who got killed. You can do much better.

Review: I thought the book was ok but R.L. Stine could have done a much better job like, added a little more scary incidents and I thought the ending was very stupid. Karen at the end didn't have much things that would kill her. She was in the ocean arm hurting and uses the snorkel to get back. Anyone could have done that. They should have explained how Renee got killed did Jerry talk to her? Also the story didn't sound like a mystery or a horror. In the story it never mentioned how the black spray paint can got into Ann-Marie's chest drawer in the first place. R.L. Stine could have done a MUCH BETTER JOB!!!!!!!!
