Summary: Not Really A Good Book
Review: After reading the book, I feel that the book isn't terrifying at all and it can't make me scared. I am a bit disappointed at the stories.Firstly,I chose this book as the cover is attractive and the introduction is quite promising. It begins with Home alone¡Kin the dark, but after I have read all stories of the book, I find that some stories don't have anything to do with baby-sitting,such as¡¥sit,'the three brothers',some stories are utterly boring, only a few tales are truly terrifying.

Actually, this book is a collection of fifteen¡¥terrifying¡¦ stories about baby-sitting ,for instance,¡¦Doglicks,¡¦Life as a 900 number,'Sitting in Egypt,¡K¡KEach tale has different characters, for example,June was a baby-sitter who finds out a family secret in¡¥The Snooping Sitter', Tara could hear a strange pounding all the time in¡¥That Knocking on the Wall¡¦.

Although most tales aren't attractive,I want to suggest one of the stories, which I think is a better one ¡Vit's¡¥Poppy.Polly is a baby-sitter of Mr.Banner's children. Mrs.Banner has passed away some time ago. Mr.Banner is a selfish man who wants Poppy to do the housework for him for free,so he decides to marry Polly and he gives the ring of his dead wife to Polly. After that, the strange thing happens.

In fact,I like the story of¡¥Polly' only, because it can make me scared, but all in all,I dislike the book because most of the stories are too short and boring.

To sum up,I don't recommend this book to anyone who likes to read some truly terrifying stories or ghost stories.

Summary: Scary Tales of Terror
Review: The wonderful book, When Nobody's Home by Judith Gorog, is fifteen baby-sitting tales of terror. This book is very suspenseful and informative. There are fifteen different terrifying stories about what can happen when nobody else is home, and the baby-sitter is the adult, because the parents are not at home. I recommend this book because the reader can learn a lot from reading it. This book is about baby-sitting alone at night with younger kids who are very weird. Another noteworthy point about the book is that this is a very mysterious story. This book shows that being in someone else's house can be really scary. It also shows that especially at night-time it can be more terrifying then anyone can imagine. For example, when Sasha first arrives at the twins home it is raining and their parents leave. Sasha lets them go outside. Then the phone rings when the twins are outside. Sasha goes inside to answer the phone. When she returns outside the twins are gone!!! Suspense like this continues throughout the book. Another reason to read this book is that the characters are completely different from each other in interesting ways. One of the characters uncovers a story with a deadly ending. June is snoopy, Lupe is greedy, Sasha is easily scared. These are some of the reason why I would recommend this book. One reason this book isn't perfect is because in this story there are fifteen different characters who have their own points of view about the horrifying things that can happen when nobody's home. But this is what makes the story mysterious and suspenseful. This book is a really interesting story that gives its readers a lot to think about during the story.

Summary: Very Disappointing
Review: This book was very disapointing. When I got it I thought it will be so good but in fact it's boring and weird and not at all scary! Trust me, it's not as good as it appears to be!
