Summary: good but a problem with the child's speech
Review: This book was pretty good, but I did have a problem with the little girl's speech. In my major, I have taken child development and speech development classes in college, and I've learned that a three-year-old would use a "w" instead of a "s" in Julianne. So, Cricket's pronunciation would be something like "Juwianne" instead of "Juicy Ann." Other than that, this book is very good. It's well-paced, plotted well, and had good characterization. The title "Twisted Window" refers to the "twist" in the window Brad looks into when he mistakenly spots his sister.

Review: This book's not as good as Stranger in the Mirror, which just has to be the best Lois Duncan book ever. So if anyone reads that one before The Twisted Window he or she will be disappointed. Quite a bit really.
In most parts the book's almost predictable, and towards the end it's more than possible to say how it'll end. Even then the story was great and Lois Duncan is still one of my favourites!

Review: This book's not as good as Stranger in the Mirror, which just has to be the best Lois Duncan book ever. This one, however, was still a great book to read. The ending was almost totally unexpected, and there's a sort of chill that you feel while reading through the chapters.

Review: This exciting book is about a girl named Tracy Lloyd who goes to Winfield High and meets a guy named Brad Johnson. He wants Tracy to help him take Mindy, his little sister, away from Gavin, his moms ex-husband, who stole her from them a while ago.They find a way to capture her and take her back to Alberque. But on the way there, some peculiar things that state that the so-called "Mindy", might not be the right girl they were anticipating for-or are they wrong?

Summary: Mysterious and dynamic characters will keep you on your toes
Review: Tracy a Winfield High junior, goes with Brad Johnson on a trip she will not soon forget. The hansom Brad seems like a nice boy. Brad asks Tracy to go along with him to re-kidnap his half-sister from his ex-stepfather. Tracy accepts. On their journey, odd facts about Brad change her mind about the kind of person Brad really is. The Twisted Window is for people eleven to adult. It is full of twists and turns. Therefore I give this novel five stars.

Review: Twisted Window by Louis Duncan is a great, suspenive, non-stop reader. It is about a girl named Tracy who is being watched from the shadows. The all of a sudden a boy named Brad who is a mixed up person comes along and ask Tracy to help find his long lost sister.Some parts of the the book is slow going but other wise it's a great book. I like this book because it was interesting and was the type of book I like.

Summary: Very warped perspective
Review: When I read this book, I expected something different having read Duncan's other books. However, she captures the true emotional manipulation girls with low self-esteem can be used for. The suspense keeps you glued to the book even though it drags at parts. Truly a hitchcock style plot, the twist and warped perspective behind her reasoning for helping this guy snatch the girl plays it bizarrely in the end.
