Summary: And The Hilarity Insues...
Review: Always read lighthearted manga with a friend...case and point. The first novel was above average and CLAMP was able to move away from the collection + cute = pokemon stereotype. The second novel includes several 'adult themes' the largest of which are the developing relationships between Sakura and Tomoyo...it is quite sudden and much like the sailor Uranus and Neptune relation...except without Sakura's knowledge. "I love you Sakura" "I love you too Tomoyo..." *Sakura walks away* "No, I mean I LOVE you Sakura" The newest character, Li, develops a gender defying relationship with Yuki...once again without Sakura or Yuki's knowledge...I think this will have a deeper (non sexual) meaning later in the novels. Anyway, its light hearted manga goodness from those what brought you the Magic Knights Rayearth.

Summary: Is bad enough is poorly dub on KidsWB
Review: While the Mixx translation is okay, I like the billangue alot better(I know is misspell, sorry)Not only is the quality of the artwork is far better, but so is the translation. It cost more, like about ... but is worth it since its a closer if not better then the orignial version. And plus you get to see the Kanji too. And I also don't think Mixx care about they customers, if they did, they manga would be alot better in terms of quality and translation. But don't let my review turn you off from reading Card Captor Sakura manga and seeing the anime, please either find the billangue which is located at Japanese bookstore or watch the subtitle version by Pioneer

Summary: this is for all ages...
Review: hey there people, i thought this would be one of those little kid stories, but it turns out that it is really a beautiful peice of work, the art...amazing[as usu.]its a wonderful book partly because it isnt too deep, but it still has its own inner workings, these inner workings are not too complex, wich makes it easy to understand.thats why i like the series so much, Sakura is cool no matter what your age! ROCK ON SAKURA!

Summary: Another of CLAMP's wonders, ruined by Mixx.
Review: I was a bit wary of Cardcaptor Sakura at first. The main character being a ten-year-old, I thought it would be childish (and it is) and silly, but it's really cool. This second volume in my opinion is a lot better because it's way more eventful, and the tone in some scenes is a lot more serious. It can get annoying how everything in Sakura's world is just so "perfect", but it's part of what makes the manga so appealing. And the artwork is of course, gorgeous. And yes, there is homosexuality. All you people with homophobia, chill. It's not yaoi or anything, but it's there. For instance, Tomoyo tells Sakura she loves her, and when Sakura asks her what she means, Tomoyo replies, "I'll tell you when you're older." A new chara, Li, (a guy) develops a huge crush on Yuki. (Who I think is a total moronic wuss.) And there's just one teeny little part with Toya and Yuki. But there's nothing wrong with those themes. It just makes the story more interesting and mature. So, here I go praising this story. Why did I give it four stars? Because of stupid Mixx's ... translations! I couldn't find many spelling errors, but the font they use makes the manga annoying to read! Thus you can't enjoy it to its fullest extent. Not to mention the fact that they shortened "Yukito" to "Yuki". The grammar translations are horrible. "Nadeshiko" was spelled "Nadesiko" in the first volume. Anyway, if you can bear Mixx's translations, buy this book as well as the first volume. It really is a cute, funny story. Sakura's costumes are adorable and the whole romance thing makes the story a lot more interesting. So I'd reccommend it to anyone over 12. This review may suck, I know. I just wanted to get my opinions out.

Summary: Disappointing Version
Review: I'm not impressed with this Mixx release... specially with how well they did on the 1st book. Though the essence of what the characters were meant to say was still there... I can't help but notice some major differences. And I'm not being nitpicky! Whadduhumunuh were the translators thinking by making Syaoran-kun as Li Syaoran of the Syaoran clan? EEEEEHHH?!?!? I also can't help but notice that the words chosen by Li-kun in the book as strikingly similar to the rather mean words used by Li of the Nelvana version. Such as in his final line after the Shadow card battle wherein he orignally said to Sakura "You and I are nothing alike" (also a reference to a running gag that Tomoyo says at the end of the book). Syaoran is more aloof and arrogant than downright mean. I'm not happy with this and I certainly hope that this doesn't follow on to the following books.

Summary: Sakura does it again!! ^_^
Review: The second pocket mixx book is even better than the first! In this one, secrets are exposed, love blooms, and engagement plans are made, but for who?

If you liked the first pocket mixx book, you'll LOVE this one! ^_^

Summary: Cute!
Review: Although everyone says the book is best than the anime, I prefer the anime, because it has more details and episodes than the manga. I agree the drawings are very good, but still the TV show wins! But, if you want to keep the story close to you, so that you can entertain yourself anytime you want, I recomend you buy the manga! It's still worth while!

Summary: Perfect translation, but don't read it too often
Review: ok, the translation was perfect, i have nothing to complain, the images all looked good and stuff, but one problem. I got this manga and i liked it and read it just a bit too much and soon the pages started falling out. my advice, get the manga, but be a bit careful when you read it, and definetly dont open it wide!!!

Summary: Gay characters???????Blah! *A great story though*
Review: I think this a great story and has beatiful artwork. The artwork worths more than 5 stars! The story is cute and lights up your day if you had a bad day. There is a problem I had with the characters. Some of them are gay. Blah! Don't read this part that I'm going to write if you don't want to know what happens in the story. Li likes Yuki. I think Toya likes Yuki. Why do the guys like a sissy with glasses and gray hair? Weird. Then Tomoya is in love with Sakura like when Tomoyo's mother was in love with Sakura's mother. Also one of Sakura's friends gets an engagement ring from their teacher! How pathetic is that teacher! He is in love with a 4th grader! Anyways, this is a cute book and it is a great book to buy.
