Review: I first picked up the book because I really was taken by the art on the front cover. Reading the back, I still couldn't decide how much I'd like the story, but the guy at the counter said it was really great and reccommended it so I cast my doubts aside. I've enjoyed book one of this series very much. To me, it leads up a lot to the next books in the series--setting the stage, introducing the characters, their dreams, some mysteries and a few explanations. Sey is a fairly normal 16 year old girl with a famous author and not very "motherly" mom who decides to up and move one day, having Sey stay with another family--that turns out to be quite a bizarre household with Hali, the daughter, pretending to be a guy named Terri for the mom's benefit. As the story goes along, you get a feel for Sey's closest friends lives as well as those of the family she's staying with. The more I read the series, the more I adore it. I love Sey's character, their situations, a guy who hangs out with the rougher crowd and has quite a... unique family background. There's romance, funny moments, mysteries, and dreams in this story not to mention very nice artwork. I highly reccommend it.

Review: I have to agree. Just like romantic comedy films, they use the same story line over, and over, and over again...Why bother with this one and just read one of the other thousand mangas just like it????... Honestly. How many times are they going to be able to use this SAME plot, without anybody noticing anything?! So, lets see...Interesting story? NO! Likeable Charectors? None here! :) Entertaining? Not at All!!!! ...

Review: I love this title BUT I would not recommend buying it at this point in time! Volume 3 was released over a year ago and there has not been a release since. I have heard that the company the author worked for went out of business; but regardless of whether that is true there is no information about a 4th volume on TP's site and the series definitely did not conclude at volume 3. Just in case I would not recommend buying it until another volume comes out, otherwise prepare to be disappointed when you are left hanging.

Review: I will admit, I really only got this because I liked how the author drew the charectors on the cover. I learned not to judge a book by its cover long ago w/ Daupne Du Mauriers Rebecca, w/ its sleazy looking cover. The main difference is that that turned out to be great, when I thought it would be slutsy... (And also, I.N.V.U. is a graphic/anime novel...)But, this one was just plain stale. Honestly, I have heared this same souped up story numerous times in many other anime. A teenage girls life turns topsy-turvy, and she falls in love w/ two differnt people (w/one whos older than her). Wow. How totally unique. I've never seen or heared anything like it before. NOT. Also, it was just plain boring. I forced myself to get it over w/ but couldint even finsih the last five pages, or so. NOT RECCOMENDED. GET SOMETHING FUNNY AND DIFFERNT LIKE RANMA 1/2. SERIOUSLY!

Summary: Innocent. Nice. Vivid. Unique.
Review: I'm not big on shoujo (girly) manga, but I immediately got hooked to this series on the first page. It shows a skater making a jump in the rain with out a care in the world. Sey (the main character)then explains that she had found a kindred spirit in a complete stranger. It's kinda cute, but not overly corny. The story starts as Sey's mom decides to go to Italy to write a book and leaves Sey to live with the Kang family who Sey has never met but her mother is good friends with. If Sey's life wasn't weird enough to begin with, her story just gets more complicated. From her new "mom" spoiling her like a princess and the daughter she never had, to the family's only son, Terry (same age as Sey), whose first words to her were "Get on my nerves and I'll kill you". There's also tension between her and her two friends as a new boy steps into the picture. I should probably explain to you that this is technically manga (japanese comic books) it's manwha (korean manga). Basically, I'm just saying that you can read the book left-to-right like any other american book. The series contains all your steriotypical shoujo-ness complete with love triangles, tears, gigantic and lavishly lashed eyes, and cute boys. It might seems similar to "Peach Girl",if you've read that, but the artist still maintains her own unique style. The plot is intreging enough, but it might be easy for some readers to get confused. It seems like a bunch of miny stories have been started, but there is evidence that all of the different story lines will merge together in the future. I was also a little disappointed with the lack of depth in the characters, but hopefully this will change as the series progresses. The artwork is beautiful; keeping the traditional shoujo pattern, but bending it to her own style.
OVER ALL: This is a great new series that's sure to be a hit. While there are a few minor short-commings, I'm sure they'll works themselves out as the story progresses

Review: This book is rather excellent for anyone whose interest are for light-hearted romantic comedic pieces but finds collecting series that run on for 10 to 15 plus volumes at $14 a pop is hard on the wallet. If I am not mistaken, I.N.V.U. has four volumes which don’t mean the plot is lacking. After reading the first 3 volumes I am definitely looking forward to the forth. I have enjoyed the series so far because it hasn't turned out as "soap-opera~ish" as Peach Girl has been. I.N.V.U doesn't have the over exaggerated love-triangle that is super imposed onto love-triangle and so-on and so-on.... which is good because that can get tiresome. The characters are beautifully drawn though super tall and very lean :/ Don't get me wrong, there are love-triangles in this one! Other books I recommend: Mars, Peach Girl, Kare Kano

Review: This manga is very interesting and confusing at the same time.You first see this girl Sey wake up in the morning to movers who are there taking away her mothers things because her mother(a novelist)decideds to move to Italy for 5 years so she can study the country.If it can't get anymore worse she must live with the Kangs a weird family where the son Terry seems to be a psycho when it comes to hellos.If that's not bad it turns out Terry is actually a girl named Hali who is only known as a son to her mother.This book is great for teens who like romance and would like to see a family more weird then theirs.

Summary: Great Korean Manga!
Review: This one called to me from the bookstore. At first I resisted, because it sounded ridiculous, but finally I caved and bought it. I'm glad I did. The art is really nice, although different from other styles I've seen. I'm really interested in what happens between the various couples. It sucks you in. It doesn't have superheroes or magical girls. Just a bunch of fairly normal girls and their relationships. I highly recommend it. It's not the most addictive manga I've ever read, but it's very close.

Summary: An intro in Korean shoujo
Review: This was one of my first forays into Korean shoujo manhwa and I have to say that I'm very happy that I was introduced to it via INVU. I've had a chance to read up to the 3rd volume, and though I am just as big of a fan of cliffhangers as the next person, each of the three volumes literally had me on the edge of my seat. I'm still waiting on word for the release date for v4. It's common for most shoujo manga have a very soap-opera feel, and INVU is no different. What I enjoyed about this series isn't necessarily the original storyline, but rather, the way that the creator staggered several storylines of each of the characters, giving the readers small glimpses here and there of each of their lives, all the while keeping the continuity intact. From the sheer number of characters to the segues to the "coincidental" situations the characters find themselves in, I wouldn't be surprised if INVU is incarnated as a live-drama sometime in the future. In the world of INVU, everybody knows each other directly or indirectly through a friend, family member or other such degree. Would I recommend this title? Yes, most definitely. The characters are all very engaging and you cannot help but be drawn in to their stories and their dreams. The art is pretty, and I'm rather impressed with the fashion choices the artist Kim Kang Won creates for the characters. It's not as edgy as Paradise Kiss, but it's still good.
