Rating: Summary: A Great Book for all Teenagers to have Review: Chicken Soup for the Soul books have always been my favorite. The ones specifically made for teenagers I can relate to a lot. Each time I read one, I understand that I'm not alone and that other people are going through the same things that I am. Each section has a different story that I can realte to in some way.In the Relationship Section, I related to a story about a girl who had just had her first heartbreak over a crush. It reminded me of my first crush and the knowledge and growth I experienced because of that. Even though you never really get over your first crush, you learn what it's like to love and what pain is. The friendship section talks about the good times and bad between friends. No matter how bad the struggle we face our friends and families with always be there for us. In the section about families, stories were told about what it's like to have someone always there for you. Stories of how love will always prevail through the worst of times are shared in the power of love chapter. Lessons are the hardest thing to learn in life, as one girl learns that just because her mom has a thick foreign accent, doesn't mean that she's going to be judged by it. Another lesson learned in the lessons section was that you should always tell somebody you love them before it's too late. Tough Stuff happens in life, in this chapter stories are told about the tragedy of Columbine and how to cope with the death of a love one. Obstacles can be overcome. Even through cancer and anorexia, those you never give up will survive. Self-Discovery talks about how through events and people you will and do discover your true self. The chapter on growing up talks about how we can all face our fears and "grow up." I thought this was an excellent book and highly recommend it to every teenager. Each person who reads this book will somehow be touched by a story. I have every Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul and cannot wait for the next one to come out.
Rating: Summary: Just as good as 1&2 Review: Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul 3 indeed does hold more stories of life, love and learning. I got this book for my birthday four months ago, and I have read a story almost every night. The stories in these books are written by teens, for teens. Stories about everything from bilingual relationships to suicide attempts. I have also read Teen 1 &2 as well as Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul letters. Letters from readers tell about how hearing that they were not alone saved some people from suicide, salvaged relationships and healed those whose hearts were broken. Obviously, the stories in these books are quite powerful, and though sad, I would put this on a must-have list for teens of all shapes and sizes.
Rating: Summary: Good meaty book with a little too much fat Review: I got this book at half.com for 3 bucks because i couldnt justify spending $... for a collection of ideas and happinings that im not even sure are all true. All and all this is a good book many of the stories are quite inspirational and have both happy and sad endings. I did find some of the stories especially those in the family secion seemed rather contrived i think with all the stories sent in they could have found better. I havnt quite finished the book when i do i will definately add more.
Rating: Summary: Great book... not enough plot Review: I really like all of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, but my one complaint is that they do not have any plot. They are just not as exciting as a real "novel". If you are looking for a light, quick read that will still touch your heart, this is it!
Rating: Summary: Chicken Soup For the Teenage Soul 3 Review: Chicken Soup For The Teenage Soul III is really interesting because the stories that are in the book are ones that can really happen. The stories make you realize that you should be thankful for things you have and what and who you are. The stories in this book are peoples diaries that got put in this book. I could not put this book down. It was the best book I have ever read. I would give the book 5 stars.

Rating: Summary: True Life Experiences Review: To All the Authors of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul III, My name is Allison and I'm 11 years old in the 5th grade. A friend of my Mom suggested that I write my letter here to show how much the book has been enjoyed. Your inspirational stories have touched my soul and my spirit. You have taught me not to take things for granted and to be thankful for everything that I have. You are all very brave people for sharing your sad, hopeful, growing up, family and just plain old stories of experiences. I thank all of you because now I know I'm not alone out there in this world with the same problems. I wish you all the best in the future Sincerely Allison

Rating: Summary: This is an amazing book Review: Of all the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul books, this has to be the best one. The stories are great, and they teach lessons. I would recomend you start off by reading "My Best Friend," when you first get this book. That story is moving and touches the heart. As do all the other stories. I'll tell you this though, some stories aren't very good but have a lot of effort put into them. These stories are great, so I'd recomend this.
