Rating: Summary: Best book for teens! Review: Chicken Soup for the Teenage SoulBy, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Kimberley Kirberger and many others The genre is overall love, but there are also the topics of learning and life The exposition: the characters in this book are infinite because this book is made up of short stories, poems, etc. so the characters are a many. The setting in this book differs from now to around the 50's. The problem also varies with this book having MANY problems resulting from the fact that there are many different stories in it. One of the characters is Tommy (from "Tell the World for Me") he is a young man who is in college and doesn't have much faith in God if any, but he later learns that his college bible teacher was right about God that is "...I am certain that God will find you..." he gets cancer and ends up passing away but he tells his teacher to tell the world what he learned. Another character is Kate (from "She Didn't Give Up on Me"), she just adopted a child who has never had someone to truly love her and keep her for more than a few months. Kate never gives up on her new little girl and teaches her that not everyone in the world gives up on people like her. One more character is Lia (from "Losing the 'Us'"), her and her boyfriend just broke up and the break up not only was a social embarrassment but also is causing her stress. But Lia finds that she doesn't need her "ex" and just needs other things to take up the time in her life that used to be devoted to him. All the characters in this book have motivations, considering the whole book is basically to motivate people-teens in specific. (From the characters above) Tommy is motivated by God and his college bible teacher. Kate is motivated by other people, who had adopted her new little girl, and Lia is motivated by her break up with her recent boyfriend and by the fact that she realized she didn't need him. There weren't really any weaknesses of this book, but much strength! The writing styles were all different because they were all written by different people but also the same because they are for the most part writing about personal life experiences. All the stories in this book defiantly follow the genre very well, as they do the topic "...for Teens...".

Rating: Summary: Chicken Soup for the Tenages Soul: 101 Stories Review: I liked Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, because some stories made me cry. The stories really get to you. One story made me think about an old friend. It had many exciting, and sad stories. The book had learning, love, and life stories. My favorite part was the life stories, but that's my opinion. I also like the learning and love stories. I think most teenagers would like this book because there's stories similar to our lives.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Book on Teenage Experiences Review: Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul is a wonderful set of stories about the good times and the hard times of being a teenager. It has stories on relationships, family, tough stuff like the thought of suicide or the loss of a loved one, and many other things that any teenage person may have to deal with in his or her life. It is a definite book to read for any teenager. It really related to me because I to am still a teeneger and have many responsibilties and times of hard ships. That point where you don't think it could get any worse. And after reading this book I have learned that I'm not the only one having these experiences in life. The stories and poems in this book touch me very much and I have learned a lot of things about just how to handle certain situations and even if bad things do happen, there will be a brighter day and it's not the end of the world. Many emotions came over me while reading this book also; laughter and joy from reading some of the happy stories about family and friends, and also sadness and sorrow for those stories about the tough times and bad things. The point of this book is to just give not only teenagers but anyone who reads it that you can and are a strong person and it's how you deal with the situations that are given to you that makes you stronger. Just reading these stories have made me a stronger person. This is a wonderful book and I give it two thumbs up. I would recommend it to any teenager who deals with problems and stress in their life which pretty includes every teenager in the world. After reading this book, I believe that you will have a better understanding of life in general and once again that your not the only person out there with problems. You'll laugh, you'll cry, but most of all, you'll feel better about yourself and if your like me, feel much stronger in accomplishing your goals in life and not giving up. So pick it up today and go on a journey that other teenagers have went on before. Maybe one cn actually feel good that some of those tough times have not happened to them personally and may find a way of keeping those tough times out of your life.
Rating: Summary: Second Helping Please Review: My name is Michelle Morado .I am currently a senior at Narbonne High School in Harbor City Calfiornia. In World Litertaure Class we are to read severl books but we are also ask to review a book . So I choosed to review Chicken Soup fo the Teenage Soul. This book really inspired me and truly helped me alot.I related to alot of the stories that other teenagers and other people went through. One of the stories that really got to me was "Somebody Should Have Taught Him". The story is so true it happens all the time but when I read it for the first time it didnt really stick to me in my head I was like that wouldnt happen to me or to to someone I know. But in reality it did happen around here and to some one I knew. That is just one of tha stories in this book that really got to me. There are plenty of other stories that are really inspring. So I thank the authors of this book for coming up with the stories and for everyone who contribute. I reconmed for everyone to read this book.
Rating: Summary: Perfect for Teenagers Review: Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul has stories about relationships, friendship, family, love and kindness, learning, tough stuff, making a difference and going for it. Each of these stories has been told by different people that have actually been through it and learned something out of it. I liked this book, because it made me appreciate and to be thankful for what I have. Some of these teenagers don't have even close to what I have. It made me realize the struggles in life I have every day will make me stronger, not just dealing with the tragedies that seem to plague me often, but also in handling the daily pressure that fill my life and often overwhelming. This book goes deeper into the issues I face every day, and offered me compassion and understanding to help me through times. I also really like this book so much, because there were stories written almost entirely by teens, seeing them struggle and then just overcoming that struggle. I would really recommend people to buy Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, because it tells stories you would not even imagine or expect. Even if you don't relate to most of the stories, you can still find it interesting and exciting by just putting yourself in the writer's shoes
Rating: Summary: Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul Review: This book is a good book. I think all teenagers should read this book beacause it is about the teenage life and it can help you out if your in the same situation as they are. What I really like about this book is the chapter called Tough Stuff. I liked that chapter because it was about teenagers being suicidal and dying at a young age and that just got me interested.

Rating: Summary: Adviser of the Soul Review: My cousins from the States had recommended this book to me during the break and i figured that this would be an excellent choice since I already heard the popularity of this book. And I was glad that I had made the right choice. In fact, this book is full of unexpected real life experiences from different people throughout the world. They shared every of their precious moment both to the teenagers and young adults. Some are funny, some are shocking, and some are sorrowful. Among them all, I especially like the stories inside this book that are so touching! I felt like I was put into the same situation with them and this made me really want to cry with them. Life is full of challenge and unexpected surprise. You will need to know how to handle those pressure that comes along from different parts of your life. Don't lose faith in yourself and the people around you. If you are having difficulties in facing the problem yourself, talk to the people around you and ask for advice. I personally think this book is a superb guide for those who are still lost in what they are doing. Well, if you are one of them, don't hesitate to read this book and try to learn from their mistakes!
Rating: Summary: chicken soup for the teenage soul Review: This book is the type of book that young people can relate to. They can also gain great knowledge from this book. Young people need more books like this. It can also help them understand things they never understood. For example, the book shows how dangerous it is to drink and drive. It can also make them aware of things they never had known about. For example, the book shows that many people lose someone close to them. This helps who is reading the book if they have lost someone and they feel that nobody knows what they're going through. This book helped me in many ways, and I hope people will read it so it can help them also.
