Summary: My Favorite Book
Review: My favorite book is Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul because the book is interesting and has a lot of true stories based on teenagers. Being a teenager is hard because we have responsibilites and its so much drama we'll have to deal with. What I love about the book is that it breaks it down into sections based on Friendship, Love & Relationships, Family, etc. The section that I truly inspire is Love and Relationships because most teenagers make some disgraceful mistakes over stupid stuff. My best friend had recommend this book to me because she told that book made her feel like she doesnt want to make the same mistakes as teenagers did when some got pregnant or they leave their friends and family behind. They're many consequences we as teenagers have to handle. After reading the book made me feel that I want to be successsful from what I'm particularly good at. I would recommend this book to some teenagers who never read Chicken Soup.

Summary: The Chicken soups
Review: The Chicken Soup for the Teenagers soul books I think are the best book to tell teenagers how it really is, the peer pressure, love, loss, friendship, and family. If I didn't have this book or any of the others I don't think I would make it through my teenage years. This book has helped me with the loss of my grandpa, my family problems, and my relatonships with guys especially with the ones that didn't work out.

Summary: Excellent! Very uplifting.
Review: I have had the worst year at home and school. My brother almost died in a car accident, the guy that I liked turned out to be an egotistical jerk, and my best friend who had never had a boyfriend up until a couple weeks ago, fell in love and things are working good. I feel lost without her around all the time and now I have to share her with her new love. I picked this book up in a store just yesterday and have not been able to put it down. It has helped me feel like a new person. The stories are true of teenage life and help me to understand that I am not the only one that is dealing with such situations. I am only on chapter 5, but I do not need to read any further to say that this book is the best book ever written for teens. Thank you so much!

Summary: Helpful advice
Review: When I got this book I was going thru some hard times at home.My best friend decided that I needed some "chicken soup" to make me feel better. When I saw the book,my first thought was" What can a book do for me?"I mean,it's not like it can talk to me or hold me when I need to be held.As I sat down on my bed to read"chicken soup",I soon discoverd that consolance can come in the form of words. This book has many true stories that any teenager can relate too.For example there is a story about a girl who has to deal with the death of a very close family member. She tells how she dealt with it and all the feelings she had.I personally can relate to this because I lost my grandmother about a year ago.I felt like no one understood me or the way I felt, but I soon realized that there ARE other people that have lost family members and were willing to talk about their feelings. If you are a teenager or of any age group,I'm sure you will enjoy and appreciate this book.So when you are "ill"or feeling a little "sick",why don't you try a little Chicken Soup for theTeenageSoul.

Review: I am 11 years old,a young adolesence boy,My mother (a.k.a Santa Claus) bought me Chicken Soup For The Teenage Soul for CHristmas. I immediately put my other presents away and started reading. It was sad, heart warming, and happy at certain times.I realized how special I really am. It was amazing how other people around and over my age felt. Also very nice to see how girls feel and want in a man. Also, how no matter how hard times get, suicide is never the answer. There was two stories in particular I loved Sparky (in the section "On Learning)you will never believe the ending. Another on of my favorites is about suicide and how everybody deserves a friend it is Always Return Your Phone Calls (in the section "Tough Stuff") It is sad, beatiful, and very inspirational. Period 1

The book Chicken soup for the soul is a really good book to read. It is a book that cover almost every topic that comes up in a teenagers life. This book is written by many people and all are great stories and poems. Also, this book is said to have lead some people in the right path. Maybe you are caught up in some stuff and you don't know where you are going to end up, I would advise that you read this book.
I enjoyed reading this book a lot. It showed me many things in a new point of view. It showed me how words can hurt other people and that any kind of gossip is bad gossip. In the book it says " It is easy to drop your words but not pick them back up." In many ways this book has help me to be a better person.
I really didn't have any dislikes about this book. Other than talking about hugs and kisses, it was a really fun book to read. One story called A simple Christmas card really touched me. It was about this girl that had no friends and had problems at home. She joined this club, but she could tell that they didn't like her. So the girl had decided to jump off of a bridge. So she was going to leave her parnets a letter in the mailbox, but when she opened it she found a letter from one of the people from the club. They had wanted to be friends with her. So she went back inside and thought to herself that someone really did care about her and her life.
My favorite part of the book is the story named Anne. It was bout a young girl that was a teenager and laughed and cried like everyone eles. The only thing that was different was that she spent two years hidding in an attic. On August 1, 1944, two months after her 15th birthday, Nazi police burst through the door. yanking open drawers, ripping mattresses, the police stuffed jewelry in their pockets and looked for any hidden money. Then, shoving Anne and her family down the steps, into waiting cars, they drove off. Anne's sister died of malnutition, and her mother of exhaustion. Anne herself died at the age of 17. She never thought that no one would be interested in her life , but she was wrong. To this very day people still read the story about a teenager called Anne Frank. This and many other stories showed me how many people do care about you even if you don't know it.

Summary: Great self-help book for teens.
Review: Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul is a collection of essays, stories and poems, many actually written and submitted by teens. While the stories cover much of the same topics as other teen self-help books (relationships, friendship, family etc.), Chicken Soup is exceptional because it steers clear of both extremes of the self-help book spectrum: it stays away from both rigid cautionary tales with obvious (and often unpleasant) morals but also has no equally dangerous overly sweet youarethebesteveryonelovesyou ego boosts. Instead, it gives a group of touching yet still believable true-life stories which recount fairly universal morals with a slightly more relatable sheen. Instead of forcing morals and good habits upon its readers, it dispenses them cautiously with a spoonful of relatability and sweetness. The advice it gives is also sound and totally realistic. Another excellent feature is that it very rarely talks down to its audience. Teenagers in the chicken soup books are neither silly airheads with no concerns but lip gloss and boys/girls nor perfect, wonderful little adults. They're fairly normal, rational, intelligent human beings who sometimes do remarkable things but for the most part live quiet, ordinary, teenage lives. Chicken Soup for the Soul is less of a self-help book than a very realistic, beautifully-written novel. The essays and stories, though all written by different authors can be seen as both independent or small parts of a larger book. Alone or together, they still tell a wonderful story.
