Summary: Intriuging
Review: I haven't finished this book, but I started it last night and I am on page 235. It is so fascinating- especially because anything that surprises you, any action or happening, you know that it truly did happen. I am loving reading it, because it's funny and her feelings are very true and realistic. The only part I am confused about is torward the end she stops talking about the happenings around her but more about her feelings- I wanted to hear a little of both, a happy medium but it is kind of hard to follow because you are not sure exactly what she's talking about.Other than that, it is so awesome! I know it will be sad, the ending, but enough said about that. I hope you enjoy it!

Summary: Every year....still heartbreak
Review: I first read The Diary of Anne Frank in 6th grade but didn't finish it. Looking back on it I couldn't identify with Anne yet.
I tried it again in 7th grade and read it all the way through that time. It is probably one of the best accounts of the Holocaust that I have ever read and believe me I have read many!

What shocks me the most about this book is the raw truth about it. Anne, as a teenage Jewish girl during WWII wrote what she saw and felt. It must have been terrifying for her every day. Not knowing if she and her family were going to be found by the Nazi's or even if she would live to see the next day.

It is a portarit of a young girl who wanted to live life.
And it breaks my heart every time I read it knowing that she would not get to experience life like she should have been able to.

In a time when people were mere statistics we are involved in knowing the terror, hope, anger and dreams of one true, genuine person.

Summary: If you are interested in a young Jewish Girl please read.
Review: The Book Anne Frank: Diary of a young Girl. A young 13 year old, Jewish girl. The diary is based on a true story that happened back in 1942 when Adolph Hitler tried to whip out the Jewish race by killing them by the millions. Anne tells about the tragedy in her diary. A couple years later Anne's diary was found in the Secret Annex after the Nazi's raided the Annex. Anne Frank and her family fled the horrors of the Nazi occupation. While this terrible tragedy was going on, Anne and her family hid in the back of an Amsterdam warehouse. Over the next two years, Anne describes in her diary her frustrations at being hungry, confined, bored and her worry at the threat of discovery. Her diary came to an end when the Nazi's discovered Anne and her family on August 4, 1944. They were sent to concentration and SS camps in Bergen-Belsen, and were never heard from again, or where they? You won't find out Intel you read the Diary of a young girl.
The story is pretty easy to understand. It mostly explains what Anne and her family did in the Secret Annex to keep themselves busy from being bored, and how eight people survived on so little food. The story is a little long and it is all written the way a diary, of a young teenage girl would write. When I was reading the book I wasn't that interested, but one thing that I enjoyed was the poems. (If you are a younger girl in High School, this book is made for you to read.) In my opinion, I will rate the book four stars for the sad tragedy and the beautiful poems.

Summary: Anne Frank's Diary: A Review
Review: Anne Franks Diary:The diary of a young girl

Anne Franks Diary is a remarkable book. Written by a young girl in a time of trouble and terror, she writes what she feels, and what is happening around her, in first person. Anne Franks Diary, is an autobiography of her short life. This book takes readers back to the time of power, greed and expresses what life was like. Also known as the Great Depression.

This book is what the world lived through and how this war impacted human beings, of all sorts. I enjoyed this book because of the high intensity of how this young girl felt. She suffered day on end to survive, with family and friends holding on with her.

" Leave me in peace, let me sleep one night at least without my pillow being wet with my tears, my eyes burning and my head throbbing. Let me get away from it all, preferably away from the world." This quote explains the suffering Anne Frank went threw to survive in this hard time.

The reason why I liked this book is because of the honest opinions honest thoughts and feelings. For people that enjoy historical events and the detail be hide them you will enjoy this book like me. The quotes that really come from the inner sprit of Anne Frank, can get to you, with a few powerful feelings, and words. "A voice sobs within me: There you are, That's what's become of you: you're uncharitable, you look
supercilious and peevish, people dislike you and all because you won't listen to the advice given to you by your own better half." I personally like this quote because it explains how Anne changes she becomes more grown up and more marcher.
I found that I really endured this book because of the reality to her life and thoughts. I also found that the sad times or the touching moments really are what put the book together.

Some other quotes that make this book what it is, are these, "I hope I shall be able to confide in you completely, as I have never been able to do before, and I hope that you will be a great support and comfort to me." "I started by being snappy, than unhappy, and finally I twist my heart round again, so that the bad is on the outside and the good is on the inside and keep on trying to find a way of becoming what I would so like to be, and what I could be, If ...... there weren't any other people living in the world."

I think you should read the book, Anne Frank: the Diary of a Young Girl. Enjoy reading.

Summary: I Laughed, I Cried, I Changed
Review: I don`t want to explain what this book is about like all the other reviews do. I wanna say that this is truly the most inspiring, amazing, depressing, stories ever told. This book was so amazing you just have to block everything out of your mind and focus on it. And then as you get to the last line "I keep on trying to find a way of becoming what I would so like to be if...there weren`t any other people in the world.", you`re gonna burst out in tears. It makes you wonder. Did she know this would be the last thing she would write? No. She didn`t. When you realize that, you realize just how amazing Anne really was. She wrote from her heart everyday without hesitation. She said everything that had to be said, without thinking twice about it. Then when you close the book for the last time you say to yourself, "How come this girl isn`t alive? How come this amazing girl suffered so much? How come it was all because of hate?" Read this book. It`ll make a difference.

Summary: A good book
Review: I liked the book. The translation into British english for this American who speaks American english is a bit tiresome after awhile, knowing Anne was not British. A translation where Anne's words are more invisible would be a more comfortable read. Having said this, it was very good to meet Anne, a teenager trapped in the face of horror. Early on in the book she mentioned up front that her family could easily be hauled off and shot. This was something I just can't relate to; a young girl speaking matter of factly about being taken away and killed, and saying it as a normal everyday happening, just 'one of those things.' Towards the end of the book, she had an entry where, though she'd prefer to live, she felt she would rather be taken away and murdered than live another day in the hiding place. This from a kid! Thanks Anne...I know more of what it's about.

Summary: The Diary of Anne Frank
Review: I recently read The Diary of Anne Frank: The Definitive Edition by Anne Frank. I told my parents that I was reading it and they told me it was a good book, but I never thought I would like it as much as I did. I liked this book so much because you got to know Anne, her family and the guests that were staying with them in the place they called the Secret Annex. Anne let you know exactly what was happening which made me feel like I had actually been there right by her side. What also made the writing of the book excellent in my opinion was that Anne was a very outgoing girl. She made the passages in her diary sound more exciting to make the reader want to read more. You also got to know Anne more mentally than any other person in the book. She shares her inner most thoughts and feelings with her diary, Kitty. I also thought it was very interesting to find out that all the members in the annex hid from the Nazis for a little over 2 months. This book has definitely changed my outlook on the Holocaust and life. I recommend it to anyone!

Summary: Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl
Review: The book that I just finished reading is called Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl written by Anne Frank herself. It is one of the best book that I have ever read. It tells you about the life of a teenage girl who is trying to survive the awful times of the Holocaust while in hiding. Along with her, there are seven other people living in this hiding place. She learns how to cooporate with other people and how to live while all cooped up. The story takes place in Amsterdam and the hiding place is called the "Secret Annexe". There are two people who get them their food and take care of them. The end of this book is so heart-wrenching that it is unbelieveable. I would definately give this book nine stars out of ten. This book is so informative that is really makes you realize how fortunate we really are these days. It explains everything so well that you can't even believe that something this horrible could ever even happen. This book has definately made me think completely different in a good way and I hope that it will do the same for you.
