Summary: Touching and haunting, but wonderful
Review: Anne Frank was a fabulous writer. She told us her life while in hiding from the Natzis. She goes through the same emotional feelings as us and describes them wonderfully. And the shock at the end..then it just makes the diary more haunting. Imagine if she could of taken her diary to the camp and wrote some there-it would of been more extremely sad then the rest.

Summary: This is a story that shows just how optomistic she was.
Review: Anne Frank always had a positive out look to things. Although she was trapped indoors all the time she still kept a positive out look. She longed for everything she couldn't have but she didnt become bitter as others would. She told everything as it was not leaving anything out that is why this diary is so toutching. "...i believe people are honestly good at heart..."

Summary: This book was dope
Review: Anne Frank's family were ordinary people except for one thing, they were Jewish. That didn't matter, being Jewish, at least it doesn't know, but it did during the Holocoust. Being Jewish during the Holocoust ment that you were basically less than the a dog. If you were Jewish, like Anne Frank, you had to go into hiding. Anne Frank had to hide with her family and the Van. Dann's another family in a cramped attic. Her olny true friend is a diary the she writes in. She writes her deepest thoughts, dreams, and feelings. While in hiding she falls in love with the son of the other family staying with them. Sixteen year old Peter keeps her company and helps her live through the hard times of the Holocaust. Anne was a great person and didn't diserve the life she lived. This diary was one of a kind.

Summary: The book was mediocre

Review: I give the book a 5 . The book was all right. It was kind of dumb because they told the story in a dumb way... When the Nazi came there whole lives were changed. They lived a good life until the Nazi came. This was something big in history..

Summary: It was good in some parts and bad in others
Review: There are parts of the diary that I like and others I don't like. Some things I like about the book is that it takes place in world war 2 and is about these people doing what ever they can t survive as long as they can.It also ends the way you don't expect. The thing I didn't like about it was that it took for ever to read. They even detailed the details.

Summary: This book was very well writen...
Review: Reader from Urbana, IL -Impossible Dreams- I think that this book was very well written. It is about a girl who has dreams of becoming a star but all of her dreams were crushed by the Holocaust.Anne would have made a talented writer. She was in hiding for three years until the nazi's came and took them to a death camp. She was so close to having a chance to be a writer and in the end even though she was dead her diary was still published and wread by people all over the world.Reading this book taught me a lot about what happened to people during the Holocaust.I also liked this book because it was written by a young person and it is good for people her age to read because most of them can relate to every day problems she was having with Peter, Margot and her mother. This book is a good book for anyone to read if they want to learn what people in hiding went through.

Summary: A Book About Something That Should Not Have Happened
Review: I am in the 8th at Holy Cross School. I think that this is a pretty good play. I give it a 9.I think that it would have been better if the author used more excerpts from her diary.I think that some parts were very boring whereas some parts were exciting or funny. This drastic change in feelings or moods makes a very good picture in the reader's imagination. Also, on the note of the moods in the annex, it gets very intense as the reader continues reading, as the tension grows do to the fact that all eight people are living in such close quarters. I liked the way the author tied in the "present" with the past through Mr. Frank in the opening and closing scenes. It was a very descriptive piece of work, causing each reader to have a different picture of the annex in their imaginations. This was a very nice play but I think that they should have told what happened to the inhabitants of the annex in the end. P.S. I read the play version of the story.

Summary: This book was smashing!
Review: A Corageous girl...

This diary, different from all the rest, shows a 15 year old girl experiencing more then we all have ever exerienced. It should be a good example for the children of the 90's. She never gave up and held her family and friends together. She looked on her diary for strength and courage. While the whole world was falling apart she still looked on everyone as good, loving, and caring people. There are good people everywere like Miep and Mr. Kralor, who help out the Franks and the Van. Daan's. The Holocause was painful for many people and this dairy is a symbol of this pain. You can learn a lot from the dairy, not just how awful the Holocaust was, but how to be coureous like Anne was. I highly recomend this book. Too bad Anne's not here to share the rest of her life with us.
