Summary: Exceptional prose
Review: After visiting the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, I decided to read the book to better understand her experiences. I found the book a rather incredible story of her life and growing experiences while hiding from the Nazis. Having seen the Anne Frank House, it made her book all the more compelling trying to visualize all she described. The first third (describing her flight underground) and the last third of the book (her last months in hiding)are very good. The middle third I found to be a bit on the boring side. Nevertheless, her writing prose is without exception the best I have read from someone so young. The afterword of the book really brings her experiences into perspective and makes the book all the more sad.

Review: This book is not by far the best i have read. It is all about how the adults yell at her and she does not like being quiet all the time. This book is pretty dull most of the way through . Some parts would get exciting right at the time i was about to give up on reading it. This book is really great for people who like reading life stories but not for the adventerous type.

Summary: Diary of Anne Frank
Review: I think that this book is a wonderful example of how the Jews were treated. The book gives inside imformation and helps anyone to understand The Holocaust. This was a terific book to read because it really told how everything was and how it happened during that point and time. I feel really sorry for what they had to go through and everything but this was a great book. The only think that I would suggest is that if you don't like sad books, then maybe this is not the book for you. The book was interesting and had a lot to offer people who want to find out about what people had to go through. I think that we can't really say, oh this is sick or anything because they went through a lot and we need to have some respect for them. My social studies teacher is the one who brought that to my attention and I think that we do need to have some respect for them. I enjoyed reading the book and hopefully you will to. the book will help you on history projects also! Hope that this will intrest readers enough to read it. This is really a book that you can't explain very well. I believe that if you will read it, you will love it!!!

Summary: The Diary of a Young Girl
Review: I think that this book is pretty good but shouldn't be read by any young kids. It has some pretty descriptive parts in it. I think that it is a good book for history and is a really good book for describing WWII.

Summary: "VERY GOOD BOOK ABOUT AN INTERESTING GIRL"
Review: The Diary of Anne Frank is a very interesting book! I recommend it to anyone who is into reading books, diary's, and about history. It is very neat to actully be able to read someone else's diary without getting yelled at! So if your in to that, this is the book for you! It starts off when Anne gets a diary for her birthday. That is when the writing begins! She begins talking about things that the Nazi's are doing with Jews: no Jews outside after 8:00 p.m., no Jews are aloud to have bicyles, no Jews are aloud to drive their car, all Jews must wear the Star of David on their clothes, etc. Then in the mean time her dad is planning their hiding spot for when the Nazi's capture the Jews. A place not expected, in a hidden attic above his business, where he told people that worked for him that if they heard anything up there it was because there was rats up there. When the Frank's go into hiding which they call the "Secret Annex," some of their friends who are also Jews, the Van Dann's, go along with them. Later they are joined by a man of the name, Mr. Dussel...who let me say in my opinion is not very friendly! There is very many sacrificies they have to make to save them selves. Two people by the name of Miep and Mr. Krauler help bring them food, clothes, and anything else they need with only 3 ration books! So they don't get a lot of food since there is 8 people all together! Well I would like to tell you more but I would rather you read the book yourself because I'm sure you will love it and you won't be able to put it down! So I hope you enjoy it!

Review: I just finished this book yesterday, and it is one of the best books I have ever read! It's so inspiring to read about Anne's life in the "Secret Annexe." I hope that more people will read it and learn about what life was like for the Jewish people during World War II.

Summary: This is a great touching story
Review: I really loved this book and I just finished reading it for an eighth grade reading assignment. Many of my class mates hated the book and thought it was boring. Yeah some parts are slow but they probably don't understand it. Many teens today don't like it. You have think about it to understand it. When you think about it it makes more sence. If you thought it was boring, think of how they felt when they had to be there. Just be thankful you didn't have to expierence that. When you relize all the hopes and dreams she had it gets real sad. She was a real good person. One of her last quotes and most famous is "In spite of everything I still believe that all people are really good at heart." -Anne Frank When you think about it, that really means a lot especially with all the troubles she had to go through because of the Nazi's.
