Summary: This was a very good, emotional book.
Review: This was a very good book. It had very powerful emotions and used nature very well to tell a beautiful story. All of the characters are very interesting and even the smallest characters play integral parts to the story.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: We didn't like the book at all.
Review: We didn't like the book because it was disgusting, we couldn't relate to it, and the cow bit.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: The Most Horrible Book
Review: The may be the worst book ever! It contains no thought out plot, and I feel nothing towards its characters. After the second chapter I would of stopped. Peck used foul language to keep this pointless book going. If you read this book in school (like I did) I recommend that you transfer elsewhere.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The book was mostly about the concept of death.
Review: I liked the book because in the 1st chapter it was funny when Robert was dragged around by that cow:) It was also sad because his pig died and he had to hold it for his father, I almost cried:( This book deserves more than five stars. And those of you that didn't or don't have a chance to read it you should find a way too.

Summary: Who is this book for?
Review: The first chapter in the book was very fuuny and I liked that. I wish it would last thruogh the book, at least once and a while. Instead it has animals and people dying all the time. I wished that some of them would have lived,I thought of it as a sad depresing book form chapter two and on.

Summary: Vermont farm life.
Review: I thoght the book was good in the beginning and in the end becuse it had alot to do with death. Well most middle school kids would say that. The middle was not really that good. I recommend this book to some people like in 7th grade up.

Summary: Hard life for a young Shaker boy.
Review: The book was good. I recommend this book to any body who can deal with death. The book deals with things that happened in Vermont farm life in the early 1900.

Summary: A book about death and hard living on a Vermont farm.
Review: I read the book A Day No Pigs Would Die. It's a good book but it deals a lot with death. The first couple of chapters were funny. I wouldn't recommend it to a student in less then 7th grade.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It wasn't the best book I read but it wasn't the worst.
Review: It was funny and gruesome in different parts. Even though is not a high reading level, I recomend this book to older, more mature kids because of all the details during the end.
