Summary: I really liked this book
Review: Book Review

Recently I finished reading the book called eThe Secret Life of Amanda. K. Woods.f
Before I read it I thought it was too long. But, it was easy for me to read it. If you want to read it, the book will be exciting for you. This book makes us use our imaginations. First my impression did not have but I found good points and bad points till I finished reading the book.
This bookfs author called eAnn Cameron.f She writes many imaginary books. There is main character called Amanda. She does not have friends at her school. But, she has only one best friend. It is Lyle. Amanda always plays with him. One day she traded her right hand with Lyle because he left the country. Amanda didnft forget him and separate with him. So, she traded her right hand with Lylefs. Even though Amanda stays alone, she will change something. Until now she did not happen troubles and have her lives. From now on she will act and happen something. She wanted to change her style. If I want to change my life, I will change my life or my namec. Maybe you can not believe that. I think the author also feel like changing her style. I t is good for you to learn Amandafs life. She had many experiences and worked out. In other way, when you read this book, I think that feels compassion for you. I do not want the story end. I want to know Amandafs life, her family and many characters.
This book makes you do strong. Only one girl could patient and fought without helping anyone. But, the book will make you cruelly because some family says to daughter strict words. I think you can not stand repressing. In my opinion, it is very interesting book and makes you exciting. I recommend this book. I give it 5 stars.

Summary: Hoe wonderful life is!
Review: How difficult life is! This book is Amanda?fs complex life story when she is eleven years old. I think you can?ft understand that only the book cover, so I?ell introduce about this book.

Amanda Woods lives in very small town in the United States, with outstanding sister Margaret, a very strict mother Lydia, and an honest but timid father George. George is working in Rome hotel, he is the owner.
This book begins whit Amanda and her best friend Lyle. She has only friend Lyle. However Lyle?fs family has gone to Montana. Then Amanda tries to make friends in her school, but she is very shy and little somber, so it was very difficult for her. After few months she makes two pen pals and best friend, Pam by Margaret?fs advice.

One of interesting point is about friend. The other is about her family. Her mother takes care of only Margaret very much. Amanda was treated like mosquito by her sister, so she is very poor girl. In that family Amanda changes more cheerfully with her father and her friends by little and little.

I think you won?ft understand about this story only by the book cover. When I looked the book cover, I couldn?ft understand why ?gMobius strip?h and ?gfour-leaf clover?h etc, written in the book cover? But through that, I could consider about this story.

All characters in this book have very strong personalities, so sometime you?fll tried reading, but you can produce many opinions about this book. And boys will not like this kind of book, but the girls maybe will like it. Because this book is written about love, friend and family, I think the girls like the complex story very much.

Summary: Good characters and a good story
Review: The book The Secret Life of Amanda K. Woods was a thrilling and adventurous book. It tells the story of an eleven-year old girl trying to find out who she really is. Although it's going to be though because her best friend just moved away and everyone is trying to force Amanda to be more like her older sister Margaret. Margaret has always been in the sun. Everyone loves Margaret. But Amanda is different. She is treated like a mosquito when she is in her room. Amanda gets a new friend named Pam. Amanda's mother, who is very demanding has changed her older sister into what her mother wanted her to be and not what Margaret wanted to be. Amanda had a pen pal from France whose father was a mathematician. He gave Amanda a strip of paper that was twisted once and glued together. It was called a Moebius strip. Life was like a Moebius strip, with two sides that were one. A person might want to separate the sides, but it couldn't be done. With many thrilling adventures to come, and with the help of Amanda's father and her best friend Pam, Amanda conquers her final goal. And that was to be nothing but her plain old self.

Review: The Secret Life of Amamanda K. Woods is a very good story. This story has a plot that a lot of people can relate to- a pressuring mom, a perfect sister, and a non-affectionate dad. I found this story in a set that I bought, and planning not to read it, I shoved it in the back of my bookcase. A few years later, I found it there and started to read it. I loved it after the first few pages! This story is not completely action packed though. But if you enjoy a good, heart warming novel, The Secret Life of Amanda K. Woods is for you.Go out and buy it today on Amazon!

Summary: The Great Book for Girls!
Review: The Secret Life of Amanda K. Woods by Ann Cameron is a fun book. It isn't heavy reading, it is a before bed type of book. It is a fictional chapter book. It isn't an adventure or mystery book, it is more of a drama I guess you could say. The Secret Life of Amanda K. Woods is about a girl named Amanda who loses her best and only friend, Lyle Leveridge, when he moves away. Now Amanda is trying to find new friends and eventually she does. Her name is Pam. That friendship has its ups and downs. Amanda now, to build her confidence, uses Amanda "K." Woods on her school papers. Amanda also tries to come up to her mother's standards (her mother doesn't exactly think she is perfect). She wants to get her mother to notice her more because she feels that her mother spends more time with her "perfect" older sister Margaret. She writes pen pal letters to India and France, and gets a visit from her pen pal from France, Antoine. Antoine thinks Amanda's sister is the one he is writing to which makes for an interesting visit. Read the book to find out what all happens in between.

The book has many strengths. It grabs your attention and is very entertaining; you won't want to put it down. You'll love the characters. I really didn't find any weaknesses. It is well written and I think Ann Cameron did a great job with the book. I think she is a really great writer. She has other books out besides this one that I hope will be as good.

I would definitely recommend this book to other people. It is not a serious book but it makes up for that. I would recommend this book to girls around the ages of ten, eleven, and twelve. I don't think it would interest many adults, and I am pretty sure it wouldn't interest any boys. So read The Secret Life of Amanda K. Woods by Ann Cameron. I am positive you will enjoy it.
