Summary: Superior to Textbooks
Review: I am a high school student who took AP chemistry last year.
Had 2 different textbooks, and I used a friends CliffNotes
AP Chemistry book. Arco's book can help you pass the class alone.
The textbooks were too long and had unecessary information and the
CliffNotes just had too little information.

Summary: Really Good Book
Review: I bought this book three weeks before the AP Chem exam and studied it diligently. It covered a lot of topics and went into detail without being monotonous. the book even had real ap questions! I used it conjunction with the Princeton Review book because the equation section of the Princeton Review book was much better. Also, there is a really long chapter where the book shows you how to name compounds that was really unnecessary. I got a 5 on the AP exam. It's the greatest feeling to master such a hard course/exam.

Summary: Very Thorough... But...
Review: I've read through the whole book in preparation for my exam... However... Arco needs a new editor if they haven't caught the mistakes in the many editions of this book's release. There is at least a mistake in every chapter... And for me, a person that needs AP help to see these mistakes? That is pretty disappointing. The good part is that, I did figure out the correct answers and the rest of the book is very thorough in depth and detail.
