Rating: Summary: Almost Paradise Review: While I enjoyed reading Don't call it paradise, I also found the book to be very easy to predict. This did not stop me from very much liking this book or reading it, but it stopped the book from being, in my opinion, great or excellent. The book is about a young teenager who goes to visit her best friend (who moved to California) and stay with their family. Her friend's brother harrases his sister and used to harrass the girl visiting as well. But now the girl visiting sees something new in the brother- looks, personality - and so she decides to give him a chance. This book goes through a pattern of events involving the three main characters. In this book the past is something that comes back to haunt everybody and certain people are not who they appeared to be. The twist at the end of this novel makes the book very entertaining worth while. I reccommend you this book, even though it isn't quite paradise.
