Review: I wish I had a book like this when I was trying to select a college 20 years ago. I work at a high school and advise students on college selection. So many of them have no idea how to pick a college. They often end up picking colleges based on hearsay or rumor. College guides allow students to conduct objective research on a large number of schools. Kaplan also has a college guide for African American students that is also a great resource. It is called "The DayStar Guide to Colleges for African American Students". I highly recommend both books!
