Rating: Summary: What happened to the real Nancy Drew? Review: Nancy Drew. You will find romance in almost ALL the books, including this one. The plots are sometimes impractical- but NOT this one! This is actually one of my fave Nan stories, in which fashion and malls are included- my kind of book! All in all, it's a fairly good read. I'd reccomend it.

Rating: Summary: What happened to the real Nancy Drew? Review: The detective in this book is not Nancy Drew. Oh, the name may be the same, but her character--wanting to help others, being a nice person instead of some sleezy mall rat--is totally changed. The Nancy Drew of THE SECRET OF THE OLD CLOCK would never dream of spending days prowling around a mall during a "Fashion Week" and having a crush on a security officer while still formally dating Ned Nickerson. The "Nancy" of this book is obsessed with clothes, looking trendy (and by the way, the sleezy trends this book mentions are outdated already). The mystery was carelessly made. Nancy is supposed to be SMART, but this "Nancy" jumps to conclusions, listens to gossip, annoys people with her tactless questions and falls into unrealistic peril in that fast-tracked trashy manner some modern comic books are written. Oh no--she's going to die. Thank goodness! She's saved. Oh no! She's going to die again! And it's lame because you know Nancy Drew will never be outwitted or killed. If you want a good mystery with real romance and character development (which NEVER happens in Nancy Drew; you can read them in any order and it still works) read Dorothy L. Sayers's wonderful Lord Peter Wimsey stories.
Rating: Summary: Nancy Drew the Slueth Review: Wicked Ways is a Nancy Drew book that many people would like. It is about a store that keeps getting robbed of their hottest new items. Bess Marvin (Nanncy Drew's friend), is in the show modiling the new hottest items on the market,(one of a kind designer jackets). If the store keeps getting robbed than Bess will not be able to be in the fasion show. Will Nancy Drew solve the mystery, or will she be out-witted by a pro-thief? Read the exiting, and exellent book and find out.
Rating: Summary: Nancy Drew the Slueth Review: Wicked Ways is a terrific book about a teenage girl trying to solve the mystery of the stolen Mara Morrel jackets. Even if it means losing her best freind's freindship, she's going to solve the case. Nancy has a difficult time tracking down the thief, but one of her top suspects is her best friend's boyfriend, because he acts so in a rush everytime he comes around her, but little does she know that when she was a papergirl that was the boy she threw the newspaper at everytime he came out to get it. Was that why he was acting this way? Did he even remember, or did he just not want her to pick up his case? I most definitely like the way the author puts the story in a mysterious way. It makes the reader want to keep reading, like if you were in a paradise world you would want to go farther into it to see what's in this wonderful place. It really is an attractive book and you wouldn't want to miss it. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend. It is an enjoyable way to learn how to solve mysteries, and the best way to get entertained. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm sure you will too.
