Summary: A Definitely Cool Book
Review: A Definitely Cool Book
Looking for a good book? Try Definitely Cool by Brenda Wilkinson. The book is about a girl who starts junior high and is really nervous. She makes new friends and gets a boyfriend. But she deals with a lot of prejudice. She is invited to a very bad party, during school! Does Roxanne go? Read the book to find out.
I really liked this book because it is about a girl starting junior high and it deals with a lot of everyday problems that teenagers face. I can relate to being at a new school because I just started middle school.

Summary: I thought it was great
Review: I bought the book when I was young and If you grow up in similar situations that the book has like I did, then you will enjoy it. I believe it is great for young african americans and people you were in there youth during the late 80's early 90's. I think the book is great for portraying life as the teenagers in the bronx.

Summary: This book is unrealistic.
Review: The language and actions of the kids and the parents are unrealistic. This book is a waste of time and money. The parents are too strict and the kids are trying too hard to be cool and fit in. School is nothing like this book has it.
