Summary: Peterson's AP Chemistry Book: Horrible
Review: At the beginning of the book, the author suggests three different plans one could follow while preparing for the AP Chemistry exam: 10week, 20week, and finally, a "Panic Plan". It seems that when the authors were creating this book, they followed a panic plan of their own. In my short time with the book, there are several incomplete, nonsensical statements I have found, a diagram misplaced, and several problems where the given "answer" is wrong.

Besides these annoying problems, the foundation of the book is poor. The setup of the book is awful. Instead of basing the book around important equations, they base it around their overly simplistic questions and mention the equations as an afterthought. If this wasn't bad enough, the answers are immediately after most of these questions. One is constantly having to cover them up with one's hand or a sheet of paper.

To sum it up, the book is unreliable, is organized poorly, and has questions that are far too simple. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!

Summary: Immolating myself would be more fun...
Review: This book is the most awful excuse for a review book that I have ever seen. It doesn't explain any of the example questions throughout the chapters, except for the easiest ones. The book fails to give you equations necessary to answer equations, and even neglects to provide some very basic constants. For example, the book does not tell you that R, the gas constant, is equal to .0821 L*atm/mol*k. The book also does not tell you that there are 22.4 L/mol at STP. Unless these are just hidden carefully away in some secret forest of Chemistry values, this is plainly unacceptable. Many of the answers they give you are clearly wrong, there are typos rife throughout the book, and several things are repeated or put in the wrong place. I can't believe I wasted my money on this monstrosity. I will burn this book ASAP.
